Thumbs Up for Patricia Hernandez and Rafael Ruiz!! I had a problem with my Corolla that seems to be burning up oil every thousand miles or so. I spoke with Patricia (Customer Relations) who facilitated the two tests for this problem. She made sure that she and Rafael (Service Consultant) were on the same page and explained the importance of returning at the 1,200 mile mark for the re-inspection. They were pleasant and clear. BTW, I've been going to this dealership, and I recommend them way more than the Oxnard one. In fact, they seem to be even more customer-focused than they have been just two years ago. 2016 Tacoma TRD Off Road Transmission Problems came in asking to have my transmission fluid checked, i'd been having problems with it hesitating to shift (up or down), sticking when going from P to came in asking to have my transmission fluid checked, i'd been having problems with it hesitating to shift (up or down), sticking when going from P to R, and slipping gears at cruising speed. i expressed all of those concerns and was assured it wasn't a problem, even though i insisted on having it checked. on the service card that came with the truck, it labelled "Check ALL Fluids" at pretty much every service interval, no mention of special treatment involving a sealed transmission. after they couldn't replicate any of my issues they denied my request. i talked to another person, Alex, i think, asking what would happen if i checked on my own and found it low. he told me it was impossible to check without a scan tool. turns out it's not that hard to check, same as Tundras. i checked it myself in about 45 minutes and was low 3/4 of a quart. i added some myself (OEM Toyota ATF WS part number: 00289-ATFWS-4) and all my problems seem to have disappeared over the course of a couple days. i'm disappointed, to state the obvious. i really wanted to like this dealership and continue coming for service, they were friendly and well organized, but this experience will have me looking for another service department. hopefully one that takes all concerns seriously. note: any other '16 Tacoma owners should try and get their transmission fluid checked. through my research, i've discovered a handful of automatic V6 models with the tow package have come from the factory low on fluid. More
Great service dept at Ventura Toyota Took my FRS in for oil and change service early @7am. Was greeted by Rachel Becerra. She was friendly and made this experience pain free and fast. Awesome job by her and was pleasantly surprised how fluid the service dept and staff is there at Ventura Toyota. Was told it would be about 1hr and 15mins wait and was out of there exactly in that time. I didn't purchase my car here but with great service by people like Rachel, I plan to take car here again. What a rip off I came here about 6 months ago and Kevin Hurlic sold me on a bunch of things I didn't need. When I contacted the Manager Scott Bada about it the day a I came here about 6 months ago and Kevin Hurlic sold me on a bunch of things I didn't need. When I contacted the Manager Scott Bada about it the day after he laughed and said you signed the estimate so good luck in court. I will never come back and tell my strong family and friend base of Toyota owners to go to Oxnard Toyota. More
