He treated me like an intelligent human being and not like “this is an older woman and she won’t know anything”. I felt he went over the top and I will once again use Toyota for maintenance 😃. Unprofessional Dealership Working on the service industry I expect average service at best. This dealer is well bellow average with atrocious customer service. I contacted the online sales department about a certain vehicle. After confirming that the vehicle was available and that it was in good condition and had no issues, I told them that I would be there at a certain time and that I had a 1 hour drive to the dealer. They asked for my name and gave me the name of the sales person to ask for (lets not name names, it is not personal). As soon as I drove into the lot, I knew something was off. The vehicle that I wanted to see was in the back of the parking lot boxed in by other vehicles. This was the first red flag, the vehicle was not ready. My sales person was no where, 2nd red flag. If you have a customer coming, you better be ready and waiting, at least that is what I do in my business. I went into the lobby and I stood in the middle of the lobby for at least 10 minutes and no one talked to me. Never mind there were 6 sales people goofing off and they could clearly see me. If I hadn't driven 1 hour, I would have just walked out but, I had to suck it up and I asked someone for my sales person whom they had to page. Eventually he shows up and tells me they had to jump the car because the batter was dead (remember the car not ready part?) and pawns me off to a rookie sales person. This is done when they think that you will be a waste of time (I've worked sales too). We (rookie and me) get on the car and it takes me 10 seconds to realize why the car had not been sold. A car with 23k miles that was literally shaking and with the engine light on. These people did not even bother to make sure the car started or to have it in front of the dealer for a customer who had called ahead of time and drove 1 hour. I got out of the car and left. The fact that they did not even try to stop me says a lot about this dealer. They new the car was a junker and were trying to pawn it off to the first fool. I can't believe that this is a Toyota dealer ship, what a disappointment. More
