I URGE you to consider allowing a different, better equipped dealership help you make possibly the I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP TO ANYONE. I URGE you to consider allowing a different, better equipped dealership help you make possibly the second biggest investment in your life. I went yesterday to look into possibly getting a new car and sat down with a sales woman. We went over some things and she told me she would have to do a soft credit pull to see where we’re at. I asked making sure that it would be a soft inquiry and not a hard inquiry and she promised me it would only be a soft inquiry. A few moments later I get a notification on my phone saying there’s a new hard inquiry on my credit report. The woman came back and asked if I got a notification about a hard inquiry on my credit report. I told her yes and she said “don’t worry about it it’s not a hard inquiry.” When I told her it made my score drop to points she brushed me off quickly saying “yeah soft inquiries are 2 points.” Which, considering a soft inquiry doesn’t affect your score at all, is either a lie or she really doesn’t know what she’s doing. Either way this dealership is clearly allowing staff who are either lying, untrained, or don’t know what’s going on handle a customers sensitive information and then turn around and try to guide that customer in the right direction. After all of this she told me she couldn’t work with me on what I was looking for. I was about to leave when she tells me she has 1 car available that I would like and brought around some janky looking Kia Sportage. I told her I didn’t like it and she tells me she has 2 more cars (which also sounded like junk) that could work. I left. Again pleases reconsider allowing the people at this dealership handle your information and help you purchase a car. They aren’t trustworthy people and really don’t do what they’re supposed to do well. More
