Brought my 2012 Prius to them - check engine light issue. Three hours later -Code said my water pump was malfunctioning and my antifreeze was low. Told me I might have a head gasket problem and I needed to r Three hours later -Code said my water pump was malfunctioning and my antifreeze was low. Told me I might have a head gasket problem and I needed to replace the water pump. They never put a pressure test on the cooling system to affirm a head gasket leak (it was good) and the water pump malfunctioned because of the low fluid level (it was good). This is what happens when technicians rely on codes rather than common sense car knowledge and diagnostic skills that would have revealed answers. A local private shop diagnosed it quickly and the car runs fine. I hope VT reads this and uses some common sense to help their customers. I'm personally not returning. More

I purchased a new Toyota Grand Highlander 12/23/24. I received 1 key fob and was told 6 to 10 weeks 2nd would be available. 6 months later I received a message on my Toyota app that key fobs are availa I received 1 key fob and was told 6 to 10 weeks 2nd would be available. 6 months later I received a message on my Toyota app that key fobs are available. Called Venice Toyota and they made an appointment for me to come in a a week later. I was told that they are on back order. No apology, no explanation as to why they scheduled me to come in. Just said they are back ordered. I have had several bad experiences with them. When I ordered the vehicle, they asked for a $500 deposit. When I purchased the vehicle they didn't credit me for the $500 deposit. It took me two calls and 10 days to get a credit. I have left several messages for sales or service that were never returned. I will never use them again and have made an appointment with Gettel Toyota for my second Key Fob. More
