Dear Mr. Petrosinelli We are sorry you had a negative experience with our dealership. It is our goal to make sure that all of our customers receive the utmost quality service. We appreciate your business and regret that you were dissatisfied with your service at Cramer Toyota. As outlined in the Camry owner's manual in the required maintenance section, under certain severe driving conditions, some cars may need certain services early or even additional services. This is especially true when it comes to replacement of the cabin air filter and the engine air filter. Toyota’s recommended interval is under optimal driving conditions, and we find that in Southwest Florida, the dust from the shell roads often leads to a need to replace them sooner and microscopic dust can often clog these filter. Under optimal driving conditions the replacement interval is at 30,000 miles, but Toyota recommends to clean and check as early as 15,000 miles. I am sorry the visual inspection you performed showed a filter that still had life. I will speak with the parties involved and make sure that in the future they are clear that these are recommendations. I have left a message with you to speak with you directly if you have any questions.
