I am 77yrs old and the next thing you know my 24,000 CRV is 30,000 because I must have signed up for road hazard $312. FWS $1,995 as well as Service contract for 1,940 and gap insurance for 899.00. I feel taken advantage of by the loan guy. I have called and left messages with no return call. Don't trust them they are crooks Feel free to contact me at 941-565-8660. Nick Renna. Pain-free new car purchase Internet search for a 2016 Honda Fit EXL brought us to Venice Honda. Jim Timpson replied to our email in a very timely manner, and assured us the veh Internet search for a 2016 Honda Fit EXL brought us to Venice Honda. Jim Timpson replied to our email in a very timely manner, and assured us the vehicle was indeed in stock and on the showroom floor. As we drove to the dealership, Jim had the Fit EXL removed from the showroom. We test drove the car and learned much about the features along the way. Jim was kind, friendly, and very helpful throughout our entire time with him. He made it possible for us to purchase the car that day and drive home in a new car. We have purchased many cars in our lives, but Jim and this dealership made the process so comfortable that we are calling this our Pain-fee car purchase. More
Recommended service questionable I have bought two vehicles at Venice Honda when it was under the previous owner Cramer. I was satisfied with them until I brought my 2013 CRV in for s I have bought two vehicles at Venice Honda when it was under the previous owner Cramer. I was satisfied with them until I brought my 2013 CRV in for service under the new ownership in May. I wanted an oil change before heading back North for the summer. Imagine my surprise when I was told that approx. $600 in service was recommended for my vehicle (brake fluid flush, transmission, etc.). Since I had owned twp previous CRV's without such service and my current one only has a little over 29,000 miles on it, I declined. Upon returning to NY I took the CRV to my local Honda dealer and showed them the invoice with recommended service from Venice Honda. They said they never heard of such a thing at my low mileage. They inspected the vehicle and said everything was fine. Also a local mechanic I spoke to agreed with my NY dealership. I emailed Venice Honda customer service with my concerns and they never even had the courtesy to reply. It makes me question their integrity. Although I may be buying another vehicle in the next year, I would be very hesitant to return to Venice Honda or would I recommend them to friends. More

I met with Jim Timpson, who assisted me with the best experience I've ever had buying a car. He was polite and courteous. He went to his GM and negotiated a better deal. That itself tells me he is a wonderful employee who will go above and beyond to make all his customers happy. It was a pleasure working with him. He has ensured that I will be coming back to Venice Honda for years to come. More

My wife and I were initially considering the purchase of a used Civic. We had a 2009 Accord on lease that was ending in another month. After looking at the used Civics that were available our sales person, Dale, recommended that we consider another lease. I had no intention of leasing another vehicle however, the lease on a 2012 was so attractive that we decided to lease a 2012 Accord. Both Dale and Tim were very helpful and did not force us into another lease without us being comfortable with it. Also, the Business Mgr, Troy, was very efficient and informative. Our experience at Cramer Honda was a postive one. We would recommend them to anyone considering their next purchase or lease. More
