Deal other Honda dealers said was "impossible" It is always difficult buying a new car. At the age of 68, I do not look forward to it. I started on the internet describing the exact vehicle and opt It is always difficult buying a new car. At the age of 68, I do not look forward to it. I started on the internet describing the exact vehicle and options desired and requested the lowest cash price to be quoted, including taxes, paperwork, etc. Only Venice Honda responded in an intelligible fashion. The other local dealers provided only general msrp and an invitation to "visit" the dealership. So, I advised them what Venice Honda had proposed, and they said it was "impossible", that they could not match it. In fact one of the dealerships had the audacity to quote a price $1500 higher and said I could not beat it. So, I travelled down to Venice and guess what, they actually gave me a deal on a Honda Pilot which was more than $1000 less than the other quotes. I had done my homework and knew that they were still making a profit, just less than the other dealers wanted. The salesperson and other employees with whom I dealt were professional and courteous.
