Came into cramer honda for service on my 2009 Honda fit, met paul, and before you know it, he had me buying a 2012 civic. Cramer Honda worked with me to give me a good trade in value on my Dodge Ram Van,and met paul, and before you know it, he had me buying a 2012 civic. Cramer Honda worked with me to give me a good trade in value on my Dodge Ram Van,and was willing to go the distance to get me the best price on my new purchase.I am very pleased with everyone at Cramer Honda, Including the man in charge, Dean in service. Kevin was a great sales person. Chris was able to oversee the transaction and was quite reassuring during the negotiation process. When all the details were worked out, Paul took over the financial matters and was even able to save me money, which I greatly appreciated. My wife Connie and I purchased a 2005 PT Cruiser convertible the latter part of April. Wayne Young called us after we had responded to one of your ads. We drove over to your store and met with Wayne convertible the latter part of April. Wayne Young called us after we had responded to one of your ads. We drove over to your store and met with Wayne. He showed us the car and answered some questions we had [if he did not know the answer, he went to someone who did] We were allowed to test drive the vehicle and after returning to your store, we informed Wayne young that we would like to purchase the vehicle. He sat down with us and presented the figures to us. We asked him if we could negotiate on the price quoted and he offered to bring his sales manager into the room. We then were intordudced to Tim Platt who assured us that there would be no high pressure tactics and that they would do their best to earn our business, which they definitely did. After negotiating for a few minutes, a price was agreed on by Tim and Wayne and ourselves. Some of the negotiation involved replacing the driver side sun visor. We were advised by Wayne and Tim that the cost would be over $100 due to the fact that they could only buy both visors and not just the broken one on the driver's side. They stood behind their word and ordered them for us. Not only did they repace them, but they also had them installed for us in your service department. I drive the car over to your store to attend your open house and when I arrived at the service department drive up I was greeted by service advisor Russell Gineo, who addressed me by name and acknowledged the sun visor installation as per Wayne Young. I asked Russell if there was going to be any charge to me and he said "you will pay nothing for the installation". After attending the open house and enjoying the food and drink provided and having the opportunity to meet the owner of the store Compton Cramer, Mr. Gineo informed me that my car was parked under the canopy out of the hot sun and was all ready to go, again with no expense to me. I did not have the opportunity to meet Mr. Cramer personally, but after listening to his thank you address to me and several other recent car buyers, I fully understood why every one we met associated with Cramer Honda was so courteous and totally professional. Mr Platt and Mr. Young did everything they agreed to do during the negotiations and Mr. Gineo put the "frosting on the cake" with his courteous and professional service. All of these folks involved in the purchase of our beautiful little convertible enhance the happines of my wife with her special little convertible. Although I did not get to tell Mr. Cramer personally, i would like to tell him that he is very fortunate to have these three individuals as part of the Cramer dealership family and that it is very evident to a recently new Floridian why the Cramer stores are so successful. By the way--a little side note. before moving to Sarasota three and a half years ago, I lived in the same city for 62 years and spent 42 of those years in the automobile business mostly in management positions, including both new and used vehicles. I did not say anything to Mr. Young or Mr. Platt about my past, as I did not want to interfere with their presentation or closing abilities. The evidence of their effectiveness is in the outcome. Who would have ever believed that we could drop in 'on a lark' to a dealership and come out thinking that it was the most positive, professional,experience in buying a car...EVER!!! We were soooo impressed with our salesman, Kevin Mazzara....he was so friendly, knowledgeable, patient and helpful. He seemed to anticipate each of our questions and made some terrific suggestions in our decision process. We are so glad that he called to advise of the 2011 Civic EX that became available!! Cramer actually beat our USAA buying service price, too!! Every step was a pleasure with all of the staff and we know that we can expect the high level of professionalism and support in the servicing of our new Civic! We had a wonderful surprise in noting that Dean Harris,Service Mgr. was with Cramer. Several years ago, he was the manager in another dealership and was the best!! This dealership was fantastic. We walked in the door and, unlike many other dealerships I have been to, we were greeted immediately by Jim, our sales person. In fact, when Jim stepped away to grab a set of keys, we were asked by another employee if we had been helped (the answer was yes, but it's good to know that the salespeople care about the customers). Jim was knowledgeable about the Honda Odyssey, and he was not pushy when selling options and trim levels. When we bought the vehicle, Troy helped us get through the paperwork quickly; in addition, Lance (the general manager) was checking on us all the time to make sure we were satisfied. This dealership provided us with an excellent car buying experience. My only issue was the relatively expensive dealer fee, but it was well worth it for such courteous, knowledgeable staff members.
