Jared, I am sorry our experience with our dealership was not what it should have been. If you are interested in refinancing your loan that would be up to your credit union. We can't refinance the loan at the dealership, sorry for the miss communication. If I can be of assistance in the future to help with our vehicle service needs let me know. Thanks, Josh VanNess

As I told you personally, Ill never do business with you again. The lady at your dealership who does the financing is the one who told me that after I asked her. She lied. I personally think I should be reimbursed for the work I missed and the inconvience I was caused due to your businesses incompetence. Ive seriously considered taking you to small claims court and also contacting the insurance company that you tried to defraud. Youre a horrible place to do business with

Scott, Thanks for your business and positive words about your shopping experience. We will review our process to make sure the correct number of owners is listed, your correct we sold the Corvette certified in May of 2019. After reviewing the service paperwork it states the correct oil quantity was used but if it was 3 quarts low obviously the wrong amount was used or something else is wrong. I want to make sure you check the oil level when the engine was warm and shut off. When the engine is cold or running it doesn't give an accurate reading. I'm sure you already research it but here is a post about check the oil level: These vehicles have a racetrack-ready dry sump engine lubrication system. This high performance system operates differently than a standard engine lubrication system and requires a special procedure when checking the engine oil level. Follow this procedure closely. The engine oil level must be checked when the engine is warm. Cold oil level in the dry sump tank may not indicate the actual amount of oil in the system. With this system, engine oil is contained in an external tank, separate from the engine. Under normal operating conditions, the oil pan under the engine does not store any oil. If the vehicle has been parked for an extended period without the engine being started, some oil will seep back into the oil pan, reducing the amount of oil held in the dry sump tank and there could be no engine oil at all showing on the dipstick. This is normal since the dipstick is designed to read the engine oil level only after the engine has run long enough to reach normal operating temperature. Do not add engine oil based on cold engine dipstick readings. The engine oil level on the dipstick will also be inaccurate if checked while the engine is running. 1. To obtain an accurate engine oil level reading, warm up the engine to at least 80°C (175°F). Cold oil will not give a correct oil level reading. 2. Once the engine is warm, turn off the engine. Checking the oil while the engine is running will result in an incorrect oil level reading. 3. Check the oil level between five and 10 minutes after the engine is shut down. 4. Remove the dipstick from the external engine oil tank and clean it with a lint-free paper towel or a cloth. Re-insert the dipstick into the external oil tank, pushing it all the way in until it stops. 5. Remove the dipstick from the oil tank and read the level on the cross-hatched area. If the oil is below the cross-hatched area at the tip of the dipstick, add 1 L (1 qt) of the recommended oil through the oil fill cap opening in the oil tank and then recheck the level. Thanks again for your business and feedback. Josh VanNess 641-682-4574

Sharon, We are sorry you were frustrated by your experience trying to buy a New Cadillac and we were unable to accept the titling requirement prior to payment from your out of state bank. Again we apologize for the frustration this caused. Thanks, Josh

Jun 27, 2019 -

Unsat responded

It should not matter if the bank is "out of state". It is a financial institution that guaranteed the loan amount. As far as the titling requirement from the bank, they offered to get the car titled within 48 hours and the dealership would have their money with the same 48 hours. Again, you did not require these stipulations from lenders you chose. It is a fact that you refused to work with a viable customer and a financial institution outside your own lenders. Very bad business practice.

We are sorry for the frustration this has caused. Obviously we want to sell every vehicle we can but we did not feel comfortable with the requirement your bank in California had for us to get our funds. Thanks again for your feedback of your experience. Josh VanNess

As a follow-up on the horrible service received from Vaughn Automotive. I went to another dealership in Des Moines and the dealership went above and beyond to ensure we had an excellent experience. Everything was completely finalized within an hour - from start to finish. There was one problem with an authorization code, and they immediately took care of the problem. There prices were good and they ensured I received any incentives and discounts that was available. The interest rate on the loan was zero percent. In all my lifetime of buying cars, this, by far, was the greatest experience I have ever had. There 1st priority is the customer. Every employee that passed me asked if I needed anything. Des Moines is 2 hours from my home, but well worth the drive to get this top notch service. I encourage everyone I know to go to Des Moines - you won't regret it.
