Great service, went in and told them what we wanted and got us what we wanted on the first vehical that he showed us, Got a great deal on it to. Had checked dealer website and inquired about a Civic listed as an internet special. Contacted David Drenning and arranged to look at the car the next day while my Honda CR-V was in for service. Was warmly greeted the next day by Jack Orr, of sales, and offered to drive the Civic around town and to take my time while my CR-V was serviced. My wife and I both took turns driving the car and were impressed with the car and the friendly staff. During our test drive, I was contacted by Jame Mclaughlin of the service department and was told that my CR-V only needed an oil & filter change at this time and I could defer the more extensive service until the next oil change. Overall I was satisfied with the experience of purchasing my second Honda from Vatland and would recommend them to friends and neighbors. More
Will promise you the world to get you come in and deliver nothing. I explained exactly what I had as a trade and what I needed to trade into. I was told to go ahead and drive up (an hour away). When I got there, Jaime who I spoke to on the phone and Dave (who did not respond to my em-mail) were then too busy to see me and pawned me off on Bill Green who was nice enough but told me my goal was unrealistic. They could give me what I wanted for my trade in but didn't have anything on the lot that would fit my parameters for a used car. The same ones I expressed to Jaime before I drove up. Now Jaime and Dave had nothing at all too say and Bill of course blamed them. I would have just been ok with that if it hadn't been for the condescending letter from Bill I received several days later thanking me for coming in and telling me to come back when my goals were more realistic ie a used car that was more than $12,000. so he could make more on it. I guess that is why they are laying off employees and have so few cars to sell. Who's goals are unrealistic? More

Just moved to Florida from Vermont and knew nothing about the local dealerships. Started off at a different dealer and by the time we walked out of that place, my husband and I felt shell shocked and battle the local dealerships. The sales person made a minimum of 7 trips back to confer with his boss and the price never got down to where we wanted it to be. One trip to Vatland and dealing with Bill Shumacher and the deal was done! Bill made one quick trip to 'the boss' and came back with the right price...first time. The dealership building itself was a pleasure to be in. How can you beat homemade cookies baking right there at the snackbar?? Bill took plenty of time with us, explaining in detail, every aspect of the vehicle....and believe me, there are A LOT of aspects in a new Odyssey! My husband and I both greatly appreciated his calm, knowledgeable manner and patience with us while we tried to absorb the technicalities of voice commands! There was a follow-up call and letter. We are looking forward to a long and satisfying relationship with Vatland Honda. More

Bill Green is the primary reason I have bought 5 cars from this dealer over the past 5 years. He's responsive, flexible, and honest. He does what he says he will do in a timely fashion. And he's a regular guy...not a fast talker, wheeler-dealer. I always enjoy working with Bill. The facility is top notch with customer comfort given great attention. I should also mention that the service department is professional and prompt. The process of buying a car is not on the top of anyone's "fun" list, but Vatland makes the experience as near to a good time as it can get! More

Jack and Chris made the buying experience pleasant and easy. They were prompt in answering any questions I had regarding the vehicle to the financing. Even Bob Vatland stopped by to say "hello" and "congrats" on the purchase of my new car. I walked away feeling that I got a great deal. I love my Honda Fit! PS Mark in service is a gem! He goes above & beyond to make sure his customers are satisfied with their service. More

I cannot express enough how helpful Mr. Jordan and Mr. Green were in helping me navigate the purchase of a new car, which I have never done before. At my first ever visit to Vatland Honda, I was introduced to these gentlemen who sat down with me and calmly and thoroughly reviewed my options after listening to what I thought I wanted for a vehicle. Having used the 'BuildMyHonda' site on Honda.com website, I thought that a Fit Sport was possibly the car for me. They both talked with me about my driving needs, the variations in models and the accessories that I could choose from. I was able to view the models and accessories in booklets as they were explained to me. While we were talking about these options, Mr. Jordan was searching on his computer for the exact Sport model and color I was describing and found one coming in on a boat from Japan to the west coast of Florida in about 5 days. He told me that he would let the west coast dealer know that I would like to purchase this car. I felt very lucky because, as I fine-tuned my choice, I was wondering if one would even be available. Mr. Green kept me informed via phone and email throughout the entire process. We talked a few times about accessories and financing options were also explained. I was shown the service area, coffee shop and was introduced to the Service Manager. In just over a week, I was out the door with my car after going over it's operation, recommended servicing and various features of the vehicle. Mr. Green helped me organize my folder with the Owner's Manual, new registration and insurance documents and contact numbers that I might find helpful in the future. Both gentlemen were extremely knowledgeable, pleasant and seemed invested in the process of me getting just the car I wanted! And I received a follow-up phone call from both of them to ensure that I was satisfied with my vehicle and to assure me that Vatland Honda would be there for me if I need anything or have any questions about my car. I am very excited about my new Honda Fit and happy that I paid Vatland Honda a visit. I had no idea it would be such a positive experience! More
