The reason I am writing this review is a matter of principle . Recently I purchased a used 2017 Honda Civic EX . It was a certified used car and came with a 1 Year Warranty. A little background on mys principle . Recently I purchased a used 2017 Honda Civic EX . It was a certified used car and came with a 1 Year Warranty. A little background on myself I am a trained diesel mechanic with a certification in A/c . After owning the car for about 6 months the A/C started to blow warmer than before. I called for an appointment to have it checked out and they found that the Freon level was low. One of the first things I learned when getting my certification was an A/c system is a closed system meaning that if you have to add Freon to your system it has a leak somewhere. There are many connection points where leaks can happen . The dealer stated that they could not find the leak and said all they could do is add Freon . I was not happy with this approach to repairing my vehicle as it is against the training I received. I insisted they keep the car for a few days and they did. The service manager said they would add dye to the system to check for leaks. After the second day I get a called from service manager Saying they couldn’t find any leaks. Even though I know that there is one somewhere. I had to pay almost 400.00 dollars to get my car back un repaired . The A/C is blowing cold right now but I know that in about 6 months I will be out of warranty and the A/C will still have a leak . What do you think the chances of them stepping up and repairing it when it is not blowing cold in the near future. I can only hope they step up and do the right thing. More

I normally dread all of the paperwork with the finance department, but it went fast and he (Mike) was very informative and also not pushy. It was a great experience as usual. I’ve been buying from Vatland Honda for the last 8 years and look forward to doing more business with them when the time comes. More
We brought the car in for standard maintenance. The service was done quickly and professionally. These folks are also honest. I had my Pilot serviced at Vatland Honda before taking a trip to Pennsylvania. I actually bought my Pilot at another local Honda dealer but have used Vatland several times previously because their location trip to Pennsylvania. I actually bought my Pilot at another local Honda dealer but have used Vatland several times previously because their location is convenient for me. Upon completion of the work I gave my credit card to the service rep Jarrod as I have always done in the past. He told me that a 3% charge would be applied for using a credit card and pointed to a sign on the counter. This change in policy was not mentioned at any time before attempting to pay my bill. I said that I have always used a credit card but was told that it was the new policy and nothing could be done. I paid my bill with a debit card (thankfully I had enough money in my account) but said it was unfair to spring this on customers without first informing them of the change. No sympathy. He ran my debit card and I signed it not noticing that it was for $324 less than the bill. I know, I should have checked it too. Two days later I receive a call that they undercharged me and requested an additional payment. I asked for a coupon for the service since all of mine had been expired when I needed service but was told that the file was closed and could not be changed. I guess it was closed for me as no adjustment could be made on my bill but not closed for them as they wanted the balance paid. After a very lengthy discussion on the phone with the service rep who said that he would be responsible for the unpaid balance I said I would send them a check, which I did for the remaining balance even thought my bill was marked paid. The check cleared my bank but I have not heard even a thank you for fixing THEIR mistake. The car wasn’t even washed after a $500 plus service. This is not a dealership I would recommend. BTW, I have since found several coupons on line. Thanks Jarrod, for working with me. Bob G. Vero Beach More
