We had to service our daughter's car before we drove it back to California. Ronald guaranteed that all of the work he recommended we have done would be what he would do if he was driving across country. it back to California. Once we returned to California, we had our mechanic look at what we had done He said most of the work was unnecessary and the labor charged was excessive even if it had really had to be done. We should have been able to have the car serviced for at most $400 total, but it ended up costing us $1200. He also tried to talk us into $300 worth of other unnecessary service, which would have brought it to $1500. I guess that it is industry standard to upsell at the dealerships, which is sad, but this is a tough one to swallow considering the time my husband spent talking with Ronald having him reassure us that all of the work should be done. We were definitely ripped off by Vatland Honda service department. More
Went to purchase a car. Put $500 down for the purchase of the car. Had car for month when they said bank loan fell thru. Gave car back but they wanted to charge for mileage as if we leased a car. The Internet Manager of Vatland Honda, who calls himself Mr. No Fuss, as well as Mr. Vatland himself, were extremely fussy and rude to me when I tried dealing with them via email. They were both very condescending in their replies and gave me a take it or leave it attitude, refusing to negotiate on what they claimed was the best deal they could offer. Well, as it turned out, I ended up getting a much better price from a competing dealer to the north. But I just do not understand why the folks at Vatland had to be so disrespectful when all I was trying to do was negotiate the best deal I could. Their customer service is extremely poor and I highly recommend other Honda shoppers to look elsewhere. Buying a new car should not be such a disconcerting experience, and no customer should ever have to receive the kind of negative email comments Mr. Vatland and his staff sent to me. Disgraceful! More

I had my timing belt 1998 Honda Accord EX service done @ this Dealership and I had a great experience with them. Everybody was nice and the courtesy shuttle wuz great. I didn't have 2 bug my wife 2 drop me this Dealership and I had a great experience with them. Everybody was nice and the courtesy shuttle wuz great. I didn't have 2 bug my wife 2 drop me off and pick me up. My car runs great. For sure I will be back again in the future 2 deal business with Vatland Honda. More
This is our second time buying from Vatland. Both experiences have been wonderful. We weren't currently in the market for a new car, but we recieved an email with an offer we could not refuse. So today, we traded in our 2012 Civic for a brand new 2013. We dealt with Marla and Ken, who were both WONDERFUL. Unlike other dealerships, there was never any pressure or haggling. They got the car we wanted quickly and made the whole process very easy and painless. We also bring our car to Vatland for all of our maintenance needs. The staff is very friendly and quick to do our routine maintenance. Their prices are quite reasonable and the service department is VERY clean. We would highly reccomend Vatland to anyone in need of a car or even maintenance. COME FOR MARLA, STAY FOR KEN!!! :-) More
