I bought Blue Certified used VW GTI. Car died same day. After towing to VW dealer they said battery was dead (cert item) and transmission had milky consistency (cert item). Could not find 139 point cert ch After towing to VW dealer they said battery was dead (cert item) and transmission had milky consistency (cert item). Could not find 139 point cert checklist in car. Vehicle check was never done. After calling dealer they said extended warranty they sold me was invalid. Biggest coincidence! Also Ford cert vehicle 90 day warranty did not cover any cost. Today starter died! Car does not start. So far I drove this vehicle less than 100 miles and I have $4,500 in bills! Insane! I was trying to avoid this by buying certified vehicle but it does not mean much is they use term only to increase transaction price, not actually checking condition of the vehicle. Friendly dealer stuff never bothered to return my call after all my issues started. They were all friendly until they got my check. I was dealing with Aaron Beach and Sean Lechner. More
