I was treated very respectfully from the service advisor. Daniel explained the service needed and he fit my car into their schedule and my car was serviced. Daniel explained the service needed and he fit my car into their schedule and my car was serviced. More
We have dealt with Varsity Ford for years, and will continue to go there for service and New car/truck purchases. Dorothy Howard is the best salesperson we have ever dealt with. She is honest, kind and very professional and we always recommend her to all our family and friends. The service department has always been the best for us. They let us know when our vehicles need anything done. We won't go anywhere else. They know what they are doing, and are so professional and we will always go to Varsity Ford in Ann Arbor. I had the car in for an inspection. The car was 7 years old. I had purchased the car from them and had a great experience when I bought it. I got a great price and have continued to take it to them for ser old. I had purchased the car from them and had a great experience when I bought it. I got a great price and have continued to take it to them for service. I have received outstanding service over the 7 years. I don't understand how the dealer can have such a low rating because one person had a complaint in 2004. More
Long story short, I took my wife's car in for an oil change and tire rotation. Larry told me that the car needed new tires as the tread was down to 3/32. I asked him how this could be, since the car h change and tire rotation. Larry told me that the car needed new tires as the tread was down to 3/32. I asked him how this could be, since the car had 32,000 miles on it and I had kept the tires rotated (all four were bad). He mumbled something about 'unfortunately this sometimes happens with these Focuses.' He gave me a quote for four new, 80,000-mile tires. Price was fair enough, but I decided to get a second opinion. Later on when looking more closely at the quote, and at the car, I realized that the quote was for...wait for it...the same tires that were already on the car!!! Imagine if I'd bought them, thinking they were 80,000-mile tires, and they wore out again at 30-35,000. Wow. So Discount Tire got a sale, my wife's car got four great tires, and Varsity Ford, Varsity Lincoln, and several other dealerships that I suspect are owned by the same family, have lost a customer for life. In 2008 I took in my Edge to have them check out the AWD system under warranty. I made an appt on the phone and brought it in first thing in the morning. I never heard back from them, so at 4pm I called and system under warranty. I made an appt on the phone and brought it in first thing in the morning. I never heard back from them, so at 4pm I called and they said that they wanted to keep it for another night as they didn't get to it yet. I said no, and picked it up. I told them that I have never had a dealer do that before, and would go elsewhere. They didn't really care. In 2011, I thought I would give them another chance. I live very close to them, so it was convenient. I made an appointment and again dropped it off first thing in the AM 7:30. I never heard from them and at 3pm called and they wouldn't be able to get to it, and wanted it another night. Not going back again. If you make an appointment they should be able to get to it. All other dealers do. They wasted 2 hrs of my busy work day and lost a customer. The other dealer I took it too, figured it out in 10 minutes. More

I assumed that a ford dealer would be the best people to service my vehicle. But i was wrong. I went in for a regular oil and filter change and tire rotation. The service man told me i had a major oil leak service my vehicle. But i was wrong. I went in for a regular oil and filter change and tire rotation. The service man told me i had a major oil leak and would need to change the engine seal and would cost $800.
Also since my car was approaching 60,000 miles i needed to change the timing belt which would cost another 400.

I decided to get a second opinion and the trusted neighbourhood mechanic told me my car had leaked not more than a few teaspoons for the life of the car and I had no problem at all.
Also I have a 99 Escort ZX2 which only needs the timing belt to be inspected at 120000 miles. I would assume that a "Blue oval certified serviceman" would know this. I guess I assumed wrong.

Im not going back to varsity ford. More
