I am in High Point to visit my parents and am headed back to Georgia tomorrow. The tire warning light came lit up on my Venza. Ms. Wray gratiously worked my car into the rotation. It turned out to be a major minor adjustment. I now am able to return home with peace of mind! Thank you Van York Toyota! More
This "service" center charges extra for no service. On Monday I ordered and paid $109 for a remote entry key fob for a 2001 Toyota Camry. Today I came in for my 2:30 appointment with Ashley to have the fob synced up to my car, for which I was going to have to pay an additional $59. Slightly ridiculous, but fair enough. When I showed up for my appointment, Ashley was nowhere to be found. Luckily Brandon (I think that was his name) was there and paged her. When she did not show, Brandon began to assist me. I went into the customer lounge area to wait for what I thought would be a short and simple process. An hour and a half later, Brandon comes to me (because Ashley was on a personal call) to tell me that they could not get the fob to sync and the $59 would now be $162 so they could do additional diagnostics to see if they could sync it up. I told Brandon this was not acceptable. He left and Ashley came back (guess her personal call was all wrapped up). She tells me the same thing. I repeated back to her what she was asking me to do because mathematically $109 + $162 + 90 minutes of my time + another 60 minutes of my time to "see" if they could sync it up did not make sense to me. Ashley said that I was lucky because they could have charged me more for the hour and a half they had already spent "working" on the car and that new car key fobs are like $400. I told Ashley I wanted my useless key fob and would not be paying the extra $. Luckily David in parts, with zero assistance from Ashley (because we can't refund you for that), was kind enough to refund me for my fob. However, I noticed as David was assisting me that my "new" $109 key fob was in a completely sealed package (with another customer name and an April 2017 date on it) which makes me wonder why in the hour and half spent trying to sync this thing to my car it was never removed from the package 🤔. When all was said and done, I was out an hour and 45 minutes of my time and $59 for absolutely nothing. Thanks guys! I will be back never and recommend you to no one! More

Darrell treats me with respect and efficiency. Darrell didn’t know but I just found out my Grandma has cancer and these few days have been hectic. But Darrell got me in and out in less then 12 minutes with a smile and believe it or not it lifted my spirit. Darrell and Ashely are like my extended Toyota family they always put the customer first and provide great hospitality and service. More

My employe Mr. Eddie Merrill provided me with the most pleasant, caring and considerate customer service I can recall receiving in a very long time. My employer provided me with a 2018 Toyota Camry and that in itself is a wonderful gesture, and I am so very grateful. To top it off Mr. Merrill took care making sure the vehicle was delivered to me in a timely matter, he personally drove for over 8 hours to make delivery himself and when he arrived after such a long drive he was so very pleasant and energized and truly excited for me. Mr. Merrill arrived that evening took the time to explain features in the car to me and even captured my excitement in photos that he gladly shared with the executives of my company. Most folks would have been more interested in making the delivery and then hurried to get some rest so they could return home. Before arriving with the car Mr. Merrill kept me updated on his expected time to arrive and wanted to be sure he was not interrupting any plans I may have had. After the delivery Eddie made sure I was satisfied and comfortable with he vehicle. If ever anyone has the opportunity to be provided with the excellent customer that Mr. Eddie Merrill provides, they will be in great hands. Mr. Eddie Merrill, you are the best with a very wonderful and you have been a blessing to me. It is so refreshing to receive service from someone that loves what they do and takes time to be sure that their customers are not only satisfied but also happy. Service Has Gone Downhill Have been a customer for about 10 years and up until the last 2 years have been totally satisfied with the service--best I have ever experienced. About 2 years ago I saw the service slip dramatically. Twice they tried to sell me a new tire because of a small nail in the tread area. The second time they tried that stunt, it was because I saw a shiny object in the tread area, Went to a tire dealer and found the nail had been wedged in the tread but had not penetrated the tire. Recently asked for the service manager to call me on 2 occasions over an issue I was having. After not hearing from him I went to see him and his reason for not calling in a 2 week period was that he had been busy. They will be doing an expensive repair that might have been covered under warranty but they advised to wait until the next 5000 mike service to do another inspection of the problem. At that point it was 10,000 out of warranty an I am now stuck with half of a huge repair bill. Their unethical behavior on the tire issue and poor handling of a major repair issue has lost them a customer and urge others to think twice about dealing with them. The founder of the company is an extraordinary man who built a company based on high ethical standards. With him out of the day to day operations, the dealership is not what it used to be. What a terrible shame. More

There is no rhyme or reason to their "intake" process; no one greets incoming customers or even smiles at us; their information is vague and incomplete. Upon completion, they simply hand you the keys to send you on a search for your vehicle in the vast lot. They didn't even reset the "maintenance required" system in my car. More
