I was in the market for a new minivan. Looked at 2010 Honda Odyssey, 2010/2011 Toyota Sienna, and 2010 Chrysler Town & Country. Odysseys had the best deals and drove nice, but after test driving the new Honda Odyssey, 2010/2011 Toyota Sienna, and 2010 Chrysler Town & Country. Odysseys had the best deals and drove nice, but after test driving the new Sienna, I was sold. Due to its being new, the color and options were not available in most dealerships, so I contacted some out-of-town dealerships through the web and received some quotes. Fred Anderson (local) in Raleigh gave me the best quote but they didn't have the vehicle available yet. Vann York Toyota doesn't show up in most dealer search services may be because it is smaller. However, they had the vehicle I was looking for with my 2nd color choice (found them through Toyota website search). I asked for a quote on their website and they sent me a quote along with a coupon of $150. Their web quote was higher than most other quotes, so I called them directly. With some haggling, they came up with the best price and asked for a deposit since I live 80 miles away. Long story short, I gave the deposit with a lot of reservation and tried to arrange my own financing through my local Credit Union. The financing person in VY Toyota asked me to give them a chance. I consented and he came up with 0.2% lower than the best available quote I could get anywhere else. I had to drive alone to pick up my car. The experience turned out to be very good. The best was the salesperson, Wayne Millican. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous. I wasn't trading any car, so they even arranged two drivers to get my other car to Raleigh. It was a very nice gesture. Although the finance manager didn't take the coupon they sent me (I already got the best deal according to them), the overall experience was excellent! More

Best car experience ever. I wasn't really looking to buy a new car. I have always had Toyota's, and the one I had was a 2003 Corolla with low mileage and in good shape. There was no going back and forth, we both came up with our price, made the deal and I purchased the car. 0.00% financing from Toyota was great and 2 year free maintenance is also an added plus. I would encourage everyone to go to Van York Toyota if you want to work out a deal in the least amount of time. More

This was the second vehicle I have purchased at Vann York. The first experience was poor and the only reason I returned to the dealership is the service department, of which I only have positive things York. The service department had the opportunity to rebuild my trust through the 'tires for life' program, which I am disappointed has not continued. For this vehicle I worked with Charles Martin as the salesman. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. Overall the sales experience was very positive. The reason for the lower marks on the overall is due to financing of the vehicle. The finance person I worked with had me sign the paperwork with us having a verbal agreement that I was going to contact my bank to see if they have a lower financing rate. Prior to my receipt of the vehicle he sent the paperwork off at a higher rate than I received from my bank (5.19 vs 4.00 at my bank). He blamed me for this, stating that I should have called him earlier in the day to stop the paperwork from going out. I have had the vehicle now over two weeks and am still trying to get the financing corrected. Insult to injury, I received internet financing mailers from Vann York stating 0% financing on Tundras this week. The timing is abismal. More
