Best car experience ever. I wasn't really looking to buy a new car. I have always had Toyota's, and the one I had was a 2003 Corolla with low mileage and in good shape. This dealership and men listed abov a new car. I have always had Toyota's, and the one I had was a 2003 Corolla with low mileage and in good shape. This dealership and men listed above were great I purchased a new car. This time I got a 2010 Corolla S and just love it. There was no going back and forth, we both came up with our price, made the deal and I purchased the car. 0.00% financing from Toyota was great and 2 year free maintenance is also an added plus. I would encourage everyone to go to Van York Toyota if you want to work out a deal in the least amount of time. More
Jerome was "Super" to deal with. Also, the young Lady that took me for the test drive was very nice and informative during the drive. I was in the market for a new vehicle and my daughter suggested I visit Vann York Toyota. She had purchased her Camry there and was pleased with her experience. The moment I arrived I was greeted by Mi suggested I visit Vann York Toyota. She had purchased her Camry there and was pleased with her experience. The moment I arrived I was greeted by Mike Rose, who was very courteous and friendly. I was interested in a new Sienna and he was very helpful with any questions I had. When I made my decision to purchase, the Finance Department assisted me with excellent customer service as well. I am very satisfied with my overall experience and will recommend Vann York Toyota to my friends and family. More

This was the second vehicle I have purchased at Vann York. The first experience was poor and the only reason I returned to the dealership is the service department, of which I only have positive things York. The first experience was poor and the only reason I returned to the dealership is the service department, of which I only have positive things to say about. The service department had the opportunity to rebuild my trust through the 'tires for life' program, which I am disappointed has not continued. For this vehicle I worked with Charles Martin as the salesman. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. Overall the sales experience was very positive. The reason for the lower marks on the overall is due to financing of the vehicle. The finance person I worked with had me sign the paperwork with us having a verbal agreement that I was going to contact my bank to see if they have a lower financing rate. Prior to my receipt of the vehicle he sent the paperwork off at a higher rate than I received from my bank (5.19 vs 4.00 at my bank). He blamed me for this, stating that I should have called him earlier in the day to stop the paperwork from going out. I have had the vehicle now over two weeks and am still trying to get the financing corrected. Insult to injury, I received internet financing mailers from Vann York stating 0% financing on Tundras this week. The timing is abismal. More
Nice people, good pricing, good service. We also had a young lady who helped deliver the car to us that was especially capable and thorough as were the sales people. I had a great experience from the time I walked through the door until the time I walked out with a brand new 2010 Prius a week and a half later. I never felt hassled or pressured to buy. Even though I w the door until the time I walked out with a brand new 2010 Prius a week and a half later. I never felt hassled or pressured to buy. Even though I went back a few times and it was busy, I was treated as if I was the only one there. This was my first experience buying a new car and it was one I will remember positively. If I am still in High Point, NC when it is time to trade in my Prius (hopefully years and years from now), I will definitely go back. More
We were looking for a used Toyota 4Runner Limited. Van York Toyota had a 2008 SR5 in inventory they wanted us to look at. The salesperson was polite and gave us a price for the vehicle. We were asked qu York Toyota had a 2008 SR5 in inventory they wanted us to look at. The salesperson was polite and gave us a price for the vehicle. We were asked questions that had nothing to do with the purchase of the vehicle. When we were ready to test drive the vehicle, the salesperson passed us off to a Product Specialist (very sloppily dressed and unprofessional) to accompany us on the test drive. This person knew very little about the 4Runner and I even helped that person identify some of the vehicle's controls. After returning to the dealership the Product Specialist asked the same questions (very annoying) as the salesperson had in order to enter our information into the computer. We waited at the desk of the Project Specialist for quite some time, engaging in mindless chit-chat, while the salesperson was taking pictures of a couple of people sitting on a motorcycle!!! Finally the salesperson came over and we told him we were not interested in that vehicle. He then brought over the Sales Manager to ask us what they could do to have our business for this vehicle. We told them this was not the vehicle we wanted, but he continued to tell us how he would like to put us in this vehicle. We left feeling very annoyed and frustrated at having spent so much wasted time. Prior to driving the 2008 SR5, we test drove a 2003 4Runner Limited with another salesperson (extremely courteous) in the Van York Auto Mall. We liked it very much. Our salesman gave us a quote and we followed up with a counter-offer for that vehicle. The next day our salesperson told us that we would have to work with the Van York Toyota's salesman (why..it is the same Mall). We we were very happy with the salesperson we had at the Auto Mall. That afternoon (approximately 6 hours after hearing from our salesman that we would have to deal with VY Toyota) the salesperson from VY Toyota called to ask us about the 2003. He called twice and continuously asked me what I wanted to pay......I had already given a price I considered to be reasonable. After a third call from him, I repeated what I had said the first two calls. Finally, after 2 hours he called back and said that the original quote was firm...why was I repeatedly asked what I would pay for the vehicle if they would not come off their original quote. We have visited a few Toyota dealerships in the area and this was the worst experience we have had. Would I buy from Van York Toyota.... NO...be real.. they are not considerate of the customers time or energy that is put forward in purchasing a vehicle. We spent hours on something that could have been avoided if they had said up front that they would not budge from their original asking price. All through these phone conversations, we were led to believe that a below asking price offer would be considered. RRG More
New car purchase, left the lot on tires 10 psi lower than manufacture recommendation. They did not treat my time as valuable, having me wait for 40+ minutes between conversations with the sales rep and hi manufacture recommendation. They did not treat my time as valuable, having me wait for 40+ minutes between conversations with the sales rep and his "manager". They asked me a series of questions about my likes/dislikes about my potential purchase so they could use that information to assist in their negotiations. This was childish and an insult to my intelligence. More
