Vann York Toyota

I emailed the dealer late one night, said I was interested in the car and i would come over in a few days. I had a reply the next morning. Terrance called that afternoon and said since it was the interested in the car and i would come over in a few days. I had a reply the next morning. Terrance called that afternoon and said since it was the last day of the month if I bought the car that day he could work a better deal. So we drove the 85 miles to High Point and Terrance and I made a deal in 30 minutes. The car was better than advertised and the price was fair. My only complaint is the the business end took so long to complete the paperwork. It was one of the most pleasent experiences I have had with an auto dealer over the years. Terrance was great to work with as were all the other staff. I felt very welcomed and that they were truly greatful for my busines. I give them two thumbs up and 5 stars. More

I went specifically to look at a car I had seen online (which apparently had been sold). I was not told that the car was sold and then they showed me a similar car (but newer, with all the bells and whistles... and MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE). They did not make it clear to me until after the test drive that it was a different car and costed much more. I told them my budget and gave them a chance to get me a price.... and they came back 10k over my budget! Why even bother. My time was wasted; I had worked 9 hours with no lunch and then went right over there. Needless to say I left quite unhappy. I will not be going back to Vann York. Again, I didn't have a problem with Greg, he was very kind and I am sure that this ridiculous way of selling cars is just what he has been told to do. More

This was by far the smoothest car buying experience I've ever had. Jim was great! After the introduction, I stated I was "looking" for a vehicle for my wife. I told him the make and model I was interested i ever had. Jim was great! After the introduction, I stated I was "looking" for a vehicle for my wife. I told him the make and model I was interested in. We looked at those and they were out of my price range. He asked if that was the only model I was interested in? I said I wanted something classy for my wife to drive. You know, leather, great stereo, etc. He said he had something he think I'd be interested in. He took us over to the White Honda Accord EX that looked great, clean, classy looking and look....in dash GPS, sun roof...What! This car was sweet! I didn't expect the in dash GPS. He got the keys and off we went. Test drive with my wife behind the wheel. Jim took us a test drive route that was both city and highway driving. That surprised me. Most of the other test drives I've experienced always stay on the city street. He spoke about the features of the car while we drove. When we got back I told Jim the price was within the range of what I was working with and we can start the paper work. No pressure, no haggling, no BS. Just straight talk, simple talk and honesty. The group that we worked with tried to do everything they could to get us where we wanted to be as far as monthly payment. I didn't love the car they had on their lot so they found me one at another locatio could to get us where we wanted to be as far as monthly payment. The managers took time to come over to talk to us about our transaction & everyone remembered me the next day. They were all very friendly when I came back to pick up my new vehicle. They still didn't get my payment exactly where I needed it but they did work it down to a more acceptable amount. Mike, our sales guy, was very personable & I enjoyed working with him. More
