When you walk in the door, you're greeted on a first name basis and you know that this is a dealership that you can send all of your friends and family to. Terrence East, Levan, Marvin, Jerome, Gary, the whole gang all our great friends of our family and we will continue to support this great local business. Forget the larger dealerships where you're just a number; come to the dealerships that treat you like family and don't give you the run-around. I will be really honest in how disappointed I have been thus far with Vann York Toyota. Not only did no one transfer my insurance, after you all said you would, I only found out because I checked up on it thus far with Vann York Toyota. Not only did no one transfer my insurance, after you all said you would, I only found out because I checked up on it. When I dropped my car to be "detailed" it was essentially rinsed and the floor mats put in. The stickers weren't removed from the outside back. The inside of the vehicle, dirty from the 3 day borrow by a patron, wasn't even wiped off. I dropped it off at 8 and when I returned at 11, the service department informed me that they had only started the cleaning and it would be done by 12. That wasn't a big problem, but around 1230, I was tired of waiting and was quite irritated when I realized they really didn't even do anything. The mileage was incorrectly documented on all paper work saying 15 miles when it was actually 115 miles. The poor cleaning and the incorrect mileage were minor and so I just let them go, but letting me drive around for a week without insurance and no one having any intent to tell me that they didn't transfer it, is unexcusable. You are correct in your response to my question "it's really simple, you just call.' The point is, no one has ever made me do it before and when you tell me you're going to do something as an adult, I expect it to happen. I can assure you that the only reason I will return is to get my "complimentary" maintenance for the first 25K miles and after that I will not be back. More

Very Disappointed that the car did not come with a FULL tank of gas. When you spend $38,000. on a vehicle it should come with a full tank. Your dealership lost major points with me because of this. Also, the clean up crew had an hour and a half to CLEAN the car. We found trash in the seats and crumbs. There was hair in the center console and overall was not CLEANED the way you expect a new (used-2013) car to be. My husband is in the market for a new car now and we will DEFINITELY not come back to Van York or any associated dealerships. More

I wanted a used care at a reasonable price. Although my Corollas was 14 years old, it had less than 90,000 miles so I was not in a hurry to buy. Matt really listened to what I wanted, offered options from what was available, but did not try to push what was on the lot if it didn't meet my criteria. He stayed in touch with me, calling when something came in that he thought I might want. The 2012 Camry that I purchase was perfect for me. It may not have had all the bells and whistles that some people would want but since my existing car was a 14 year old stick shift with a tape deck and manual windows and locks, pretty much anything was going to be a step up for me. Plus the "lack" of extra features placed it within a price range where I was comfortable. I really felt that Matt worked with to find what I wanted rather than to "sell me" on something. I did NOT like a gentleman who came over during our discussion of financing. I cannot recall his name but Matt said that he was the head of used vehicles. He had a loud booming voice and sat right next to me and talk without modulating his volume. It was painful to listen to. Plus he decided to bellow out my credit score to the entire showroom. Thanks idiot, glad you didn't have my SS#. While he might be useful to have around in case your PA system goes out, I don't think someone as annoying and as lacking in discretion should be around customers, at least not this customer. More

My experience at Vann York Toyota was fantastic. They are extremely fair on price, courteous, and their goal is having exceptional customer service. As of now, I would say that they have met that goal quite well. They have a fabulous team atmosphere amongst their operation, which results in a very satisfied customer base. I purchased a 2013 Prius and couldn't be more pleased with the experience. I highly recommend Vann York Toyota. More
