Vann York Auto Group is a leader not only in business but in community involvement in High Point. The work done on behalf of the United Way exemplifies this leadership. As longtime participants in the campaign, Vann York Auto Group sought to increase its involvement. Starting in 2002, they have donated a car to each annual campaign. Local High Point workers who contribute to the United Way have a chance to win the car during a final event at a Vann York dealership. The United Way has recognized this commitment, awarding the Yorks the Tocqueville Society Award, the Chairman's Award for Campaign Excellence, and the Eagle Award for Campaign Excellence.

Denied the warranty and changed the mileage. Unbelievable crookedness! I must emphasis that the salesman Jack Hardin had nothing to do with this. The managers of this store are total crooks! He Unbelievable crookedness! I must emphasis that the salesman Jack Hardin had nothing to do with this. The managers of this store are total crooks! Here is what they did: 1. Change the mileage to void the warranty: Vann York presented 3 different values on three documents generated on the same day! This is a felony under Federal laws: (A) The sale contract states: 95829 miles, 488 miles below actual. (B) The warranty states: 95289 miles, 1028 miles below as if I have drove the car 1028 miles even before leaving their lot! (C) The State Inspection report done by Vann York states: 96317 (actual). 2. Denied and breached the Warranty Contract: The managers stole and removed my warranty paper from my sale contract, violating federal law 16 CFR 455. When I faced them with the fact, they denied the warranty and refused to honor it. I got a copy of the warranty from their Human Resources after ~ one month! Still they did not honor it. One of the "smart" managers tried to convince me that oil leak from the engine is not an engine problem and thus not covered by the warranty! 4. Misrepresented the vehicle's components/features and accessories 5. Failed to disclosed know problem with the vehicle such as engine oil leak and an invisible torn seat The above facts are well documented for anyone who may need it. Just contact me. More
