Our experience at Vandergriff Toyota. Ryan Parker offered excellent service when we went to our local Toyota dealer to replace the air bags. He was kind, helpful and very well informed about handling our situation which turned out to be a little more complicated because our older Toyota was a little different. Our experience turned out to be a very positive one because of his help. Thank you Vandergriff for this excellent employee. More

I used a coupon for my synthetic oil change that came with a free tire rotation and complimentary multi-point inspection, which is great because I'm about to travel about 500 miles this weekend. They were polite, quick, and very affordable. Bonus: free starbucks. More

I was greeted immediately by Floyd who took care of setting up the servicing for my Toyota Corolla. They had a very nice area waiting area with complimentary beverages, snacks and big screen TV which was wonderful. Before I knew it Floyd came back and said my car was ready. I really appreciate the fast and friendly service, Floyd represented his company well! Vandergriff Toyota really has it going on!!!! More

30,000 mile service I leased a vehicle just over a year ago from Vandergiff Toyota in Arlington, TX. About 3 months into the lease, my transmission "went bad". I was told I leased a vehicle just over a year ago from Vandergiff Toyota in Arlington, TX. About 3 months into the lease, my transmission "went bad". I was told that something got into the transmission, metal dust or something, and that this was a fluke. They changed my transmission without notice, and when I picked it up, they just said that it was basically their decision to replace it, since I'm not technically the "owner", as I have a lease contract. Not a good first impression for customer service. My thoughts regarding rolling over this lease into a purchase have changed. I was not made to feel that I'd bought a quality product, and that the dealership would give me a courtesy call when some major repair like a complete transition changed would be necessary just three months into a lease. I was livid. So, I went back to Hurst, to the dealership where I signed the lease. Their hands were tied because I had it serviced at Vandergriff, and they did confirm that, per my contract, it is up to the dealership how they choose to handle a major repair on a lease. So, there I was, losing confidence in Toyota, but I thought, maybe this is not a Toyota problem, this is a Vandergriff customer service problem. Please at least call a customer who is in the process of regaining confidence regarding your brand after all the recall issues in the past, and inform her of her options, if there be any, and sure up your chances for a renewed lease and a lifetime of service and purchases. I do have a son who will be going to college next year, and my daughter highly recommended me to you after she got a fabulous deal on a lease. It just seemed to be about the repair money here at Vandergriff. Out with old, in with the new transmission. No courtesy call, and not the best treatment as I questioned the process. The manager was called in, because I was ready to ask for a new vehicle. But, that wasn't possible. Here I am a year into the lease, and I come here for service because I live in Arlington. I come in for my prepaid service. I know I will pay nothing, because I paid some extra at the onset of the lease so that this would be an easy process for the life of the lease. Now, the serviceman wants to know if I want to "upgrade" my service. I tell you, the product may be good, but Vandergriff continues to leave a bad taste in my mouth. I asked, at 9:30AM on a Saturday, the only day I can come to have service done because of my job hours, how long? The service man says, "hours". I say, how many HOURS..... three, five? "Uh, maybe three". Wow, no consolation! And, no way to book an appointment on Saturday. I guess that's a policy across the board at Toyota in the DFW Metroplex, no Saturday appointments. But why? Anyway, I'd travel to Hurst to get better customer service and to feel like you are more than dollar signs when you walk in the door. I'm disappointed, and I only come here for convenience. I asked a serviceman for a chair, because their is a desk area, to work at, while you wait. He explained, "Well, they've done a remodel, (not sure I agree, because it looks exactly the same as before) and there are two chairs at the desk , not three, as before. It is crowded. I said, "I'm a teacher, I'd like to get some work done while I wait", but no effort whatsoever to get a chair in this chair-filled place. He never seemed to move from his desk. Please hold a class on customer service! It's not that hard to find an extra chair on a crowded Saturday in a dealership that won't take service appointments. Yikes! More
