It supposedly over heated and blew several Gaskets and blew the engine. I was told when I purchased the vehicle that it passed all inspections. If it passed all the inspecitions then why all of a sudden did it over heat??? A couple of almars went off in my head when I was also told that the vehicle was previously owned by a current salesman at Toyota Vandergriff. ****My question to them - did the vehicle even get inspected since belonged to a current employee???? Did the current employee experience issues before pawning his problem car off to someone else??? I had the vehicle towed to Vandergriff and was told by Ryan (service manager, very nice guy) that the warranty company advised that they need to disassemble the engine to find out what caused the failure, and I needed to give my authorization for this service. The cost for them to disassemble would be $1159.99, however after this is done and it is revealed that it was just normal failure (wear and tear) and not abuse than the warranty company will cover that fee for the disassembly. ** Wear and tear, we had the vehicle for about 6 weeks. ridiculous I inquired about getting my money back or asking them to put my son in another car. We paid cash for the Toyota and just want to get answers. This could have ended bad- this car left my 16 year old stranded on a busy highway at night in a not so good neighborhood, and I am totally upset. This is my only son and need him to be in a safe reliable vehicle. If I wanted some rinky dinky vehicle I would have gone to Frank's Car lot somewhere off Division St on the east side of Arlington I have purchased several vehicle from this dealership and it does not look like I will even be taking my Toyota 4Rundner there, even to get serviced. I am currently trying to get Charlie Evans' bosses email address or a regional manager/area manager - to no avail. If all else fails I will be hiring an attorney. I had a headlight problem and it was fixed I called for an appointment and I was set up with Jonathan Pankrez. He took down my information and past problems. After checking it out, the headli I called for an appointment and I was set up with Jonathan Pankrez. He took down my information and past problems. After checking it out, the headlight had been improperly installed in the past and had simply worked loose. The small bulb, however, was burned out and they replaced it. I was totally satisfied with the service and the coffee. Thanks. More

Are they even ASE certified? I went in to ave a recall taken care of, replacement of the front dashboard which was melting due to heat. Well, the dash was put in but as soon as I I went in to ave a recall taken care of, replacement of the front dashboard which was melting due to heat. Well, the dash was put in but as soon as I left I noticed it was popping out of some spots. And surprisingly, my power outlet and AUX input stopped working. So I took the car back the next day and it turned out the tech "FORGOT" to plug in the AUX and power outlet. After all this was over they (incompetent techs) could not fix the power outlet which they messed up. Frustrated I left; and Nancy was great in getting me out the door. Never experienced such bad customer service. I ended up getting an estimate for the power outlet repair from another dealership and it is $250. The other dealership was surprised and told me this power outlet went out because whoever was messing with it earlier was plugging it in and out without disconnecting the battery which caused it to burn out. Do not get your car serviced here. Especially if you love your car. More

Tundra truck repair I took my Tundra to this dealership, where I also purchased, it for repairs. Luis Viloria was the service manager and Ben was the technician who repa I took my Tundra to this dealership, where I also purchased, it for repairs. Luis Viloria was the service manager and Ben was the technician who repaired it. Luis advised me they were backed up with work and it was late Friday. Luis talked to Ben and they decided to take time to put the truck up on a lift to look at it. Ben immediately found the problems and advised me what needed to be done. He also advised me it would be well into next week before the work would be completed. Luis assisted me in getting a vehicle to use while my truck was in the shop. The car rental and most of the work was covered under warranty. What was not covered under warranty and needed repair, the charge was very reasonable. The truck was ready when promised. I am very pleased with my experience at Vandergriff Toyota in Arlington Texas. I thank Luis and Ben for their service and attention they gave me. More
Ryan Parker is the best anywhere I appreciate the service dept at Vandergriff, but what really makes me very secure is the absolutely personal service treatment by Ryan Parker. he has I appreciate the service dept at Vandergriff, but what really makes me very secure is the absolutely personal service treatment by Ryan Parker. he has taken care of me for two years and while I am still in that "almost a new car" phase with free service calls and oil changes etc., Ryan sees to it that he remembers me, my car and will attend to any minor question I might have. When , therefore , something more serious and costly might arise, I know now that I can trust Ryan to guide me fairly and honestly, rather than what most of us through the years lotworried about "dealers excess costs etc." I never worry when bring in my car and that says a lot!!!!! More
