Arturo Vallez was very responsive, insisted I test drive the car before buying and step by step made it happen quickly. He then made sure I was aware of all of the features, even though I already knew I wan the car before buying and step by step made it happen quickly. He then made sure I was aware of all of the features, even though I already knew I wanted the car. Him taking me through the features made me more comfortable with the tundra and there are features I wouldn’t have known about. Nice work Arturo! More
I cannot say enough good things about Bianca Vigue. We were looking for something very specific and she brought up a car that checked all the boxes. Bianca Vigue spent a lot of time with us explaining the dashboard, she got us hooked up to the Toyota app, and set some controls so we could use the navigator easily. She had unfailing patience with two gadget-challenged seniors, who bought a very basic car, even after the sale had been concluded. Brava, Bianca Vigue! More
This dealership refused to sell me a vehicle at the advertised online price. They wanted $500 in addition. When I didn’t purchase that day because I wanted to see the Texas Rangers win their first Worl advertised online price. They wanted $500 in addition. When I didn’t purchase that day because I wanted to see the Texas Rangers win their first World Series, they added $2500 over the price the following day. The truck was still listed online for the same price, but they would only sell it for $2500 over that price. These guys are a bunch of tools. Stay far away. More
1st contact was with Nicholas which was good. I informed him that I was a VSPP Customer in which he wasn't familiar with so he turned me over to his Sales Manager who told me that the vehicle I w I informed him that I was a VSPP Customer in which he wasn't familiar with so he turned me over to his Sales Manager who told me that the vehicle I was interested in had a dealer mark up of $10,000. which I told him I wasn't interested in since 3 other dealers I had visited told me they weren't that kind of a dealership. The next day I received a Personal Email from (Charlie Evans) who told me he was the Owner and Managing Partner. He went on to say he wanted my business. Long Story Short ... he would ONLY Sell me the Grandhighlander I picked out with a $9,000. Mark up. He didn't care that I was a VSPP Customer. I was Very Disappointed with my experience with him. I've owned several Toyotas in the past and I've always considered Toyota a Classier Dealership then that. More

I asked the mechanics to learn about car maintenance as they worked on their car and they were more than happy to explain what they were doing and what they recommend. They guys that worked on my car thoro they worked on their car and they were more than happy to explain what they were doing and what they recommend. They guys that worked on my car thoroughly explained what they were doing and why since my car is at 10K miles as well as answered my questions professionally. I would definitely ask for Steve, Eric, and Quincy again! More
More like Vandergrift! I will never go back. In my quest to find a good used car, I scoured all of the car buying websites, and found what sounded like a good deal. Lo I will never go back. In my quest to find a good used car, I scoured all of the car buying websites, and found what sounded like a good deal. Low mileage 3 year old car with all of the bells and whistles I wanted, including manual transmission. I tried on the car, and after trying a few other cars elsewhere, I went back to buy from Vandergriff Toyota. After 2 months, I’m still fairly happy with the used car I bought. My experience with Vandergriff Toyota did not leave me happy. I got a bad feeling from the start, and should have walked away, but I assumed with Vandergriff’s long history in the area I must have just been tired and hungry. The salesman jacked up the price saying there were thousand of $s in various "industry standard" fees hidden behind an * in the online legalese. That really should have been my first sight to walk away. The financing I’d secured would no longer cover the cost of the car so they ran my excellent credit 4 times to try to secure me a loan I found acceptable. I was adamant that I did not want the terms longer than 6 years. He finally managed to get the pricing in the range needed so I could afford the monthly payments (I did not tell him my target payments, but I could see he could see I was doing the mental math). Job done, he moved me over to the waiting area for the finance department. After sitting around for 20 minutes, mulling the whole situation over, I thought about leaving, but I talked myself into staying. The finance guy starts upselling their warranty support and insisting that I need the free oil changes for 5 years (not even through the life of the loan). I told him that I could not afford to pay more than the agreed upon $220/month. He did his song and dance back and forth about the warranty and mysteries of the unknown; and with the title of my old vehicle in my hand I almost walked out of his office. I should have. Realizing he was losing me, he asked me to wait while he worked something out and vanished. When he came back, he said they’d worked out a deal so I could get some warranty coverage, without raising my payments. I should have asked for details, but I was 2.5 hours into the process and I just wanted to be done with it. That was my mistake. He flashed paperwork at me, while asking me to confirm that I’d seen the paperwork, and said he’d email me a copy of everything. I watched him scan signed documents into his system, but at no point did he offer me a packet with the signed paperwork. As it was after 9, he ushered me out a side door. I thanked him for his time, even though I did not feel thankful, and drove home. I discovered that they had not quite finished detailing the car. There were streaks of something (Armor All?) on the passenger side doors (front and back), some detailing litter in the between-seats cubby, and an unwrapped straight razor in the storage bin of the driver side door (fortunately I saw it before I grabbed it), and the floor mats were just tossed in rather than being properly affixed in place. Which…after the beating I took with the finance guy seems paltry in comparison. I did not receive the emailed documents, and had to call multiple times to get them. When they did finally email the documents to me, it was just the pages that I’d signed. No Carfax or warranty information, as promised. And looking at the signed pages, I realized that they signed me up for a 75 month loan…against my stated wishes not to have a loan longer than 6 years! I know it’s my fault for not paying closer attention to what I was signing, but I have never felt so abused by a dealership. With everything combined, this experience has completely soured me on the Vandergriff name, and I will NEVER do business with any of their locations again. They can keep their blasted warranty service, IF they even gave it to me in the first place, since 2 months later I STILL have no proof of it! More
We came in to Vandergriff Toyota in Arlington this weekend to buy a used car and it was bar none the worst experience buying a car I have ever had in my life. We test drove a Prius that was listed weekend to buy a used car and it was bar none the worst experience buying a car I have ever had in my life. We test drove a Prius that was listed as a Certified Pre Owned vehicle for 22,900.00 . When they came back with an offer the price somehow went up to 31,000.00. Just NO. The conman (Ariel) who came out to give us the offer tried to convince us that because the car was listed as a CPO that the difference was the fee for that. Just NO. The price on the web included the CPO certification. Then he tried to make us believe the price was different in the store than it was on the web. If that is true then shame on them. My Daughter in law called to get an out the door price and their rep Daniel said it would be the 22,900.00 that was listed on the web and she guaranteed that there were no other fees besides tax title and license. their people tried every trick in the smarmy dishonest used car salesman book to rip us off. I asked to see Ariel's boss and was told he had left for the day. I'm sure it wouldn't have made a difference because people don't do this type of thing unless it is sanctioned from above but I would have appreciated dealing with anyone other than that man. He honestly made my skin crawl as soon as he opened his mouth. We ending up paying 1000.00 dollars more than we should have because after 7 hours we were just exhausted. I What they were doing isn't legal in Texas. It's called bait and switch. I showed them the statute. This is the 3rd and last car we will ever buy from this business. If we didn't need to replace the car that was totaled we would have walked out Saturday. We will go elsewhere from now on. I will be telling everyone that will listen to stay as far away from this business as possible. More
