Sat there for two hours only for him to tell me they did not have the part. I had asked for a State inspection as well and got that but could have done that elsewhere in lot less time. I still have to go back for the warranty part. Question is, why was this scheduled if parts are not on the shelf? Very disappointing due to my work schedule it is difficult for me to schedule service. Vandergriff Toyota just wasted two hours of my time. Rep said part was in when work was scheduled so sounds like should have been ear marked for my car, poor organization on the part of the service team far as I am concerned. More
Most Excellent! This is my second RAV4. So, I have been dealing with Vandergriff for at least 12 years. I have never had a bad service advisor. This is my second RAV4. So, I have been dealing with Vandergriff for at least 12 years. I have never had a bad service advisor. More
Engine dead ONE mo later/Unauthorized credit inquiries!! I bought a car Jan 4, and Feb the car stopped on me in the middle of nowhere...and needed an entire engine. Yes, it was used. But the sales guy assur I bought a car Jan 4, and Feb the car stopped on me in the middle of nowhere...and needed an entire engine. Yes, it was used. But the sales guy assured me they did a 32 point check on the car, and they couldn't sell me a car that needed major work (engines/transmissions etc) like mom & pop car lots can, because they are a corporation, and blah blah blah. But wait, that's only ONE lie they told. When I 1st started shopping for a car, I found the car I wanted online, and got approved online. All I needed the dealership to do was sell me the car. I called the dealership, but the nice guy I spoke to (Internet Manager) informed he would be out of the office the following day. I SHOULD HAVE WAITED. I went on in the next day. I specifically told the sales rep that I was approved with Capital One Auto Finance. He informed in order to start the process I had to complete their application. Capital One had already advised I would be completing a final application at whichever dealership I decided to buy a car from, so I agreed. I specifically told the salesperson not to run my credit, only submit my information to Capital One, as I am already approved. I've since discovered that the dealership checked my credit 12 times and may be continuing to do so. When I asked the salesperson, he apologized via text and said he will inform his manager. I went in the next morning to speak with the floor desk manager (Ray Belleman) myself. He apologized, said he will convey to the salesperson for future buyers, but that it is nothing he can do about it. (LIE) His demeanor during his apology seemed to be very artificial, and I do not believe him!. Vanderbilt deceived me with their application, lied to me about their policy of running credit, accessing my credit file without a permissible purpose and then gave my social to several lenders after I told them not to. I asked them to remove it, but the desk floor manager said he couldn't (another lie) and I feel he did not as deliberate retaliation for declining their offer of financing with Toyota. So now, I have 14 inquiries on my credit report. And they refuse to even delete the one from Toyota. So there I was, hadn't even paid my 1st car note, hadn't even paid off the $2600 warranty...needing an engine. From all the hundreds I spent on rental car fees (that the warranty didn't all cover) to all the 'extras hidden fees for the engine repair' ...that the warranty didn't cover, for my so called NEW car?!? What a joke. I called over there around March 11th to ask someone higher up about the '32 point inspection' but had to leave a message for the general manager because he was on vacation. That was a month ago. These folks don't care. THEN I got a notice in the mail that my license plates where ready for pickup. Uuum how the HECK am I gone get there! And yeah, what car was I going to put them on? Here's a tip... STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. More
A Tip Debbie Longoria was my Assistant Service Manager. She was familiar with why I was there and told me what would be done to my car. She told me that th Debbie Longoria was my Assistant Service Manager. She was familiar with why I was there and told me what would be done to my car. She told me that there was coffee and I could have a seat in the waiting area. My only tip to give is that the Service manager check on their clients at least into an hour wait. I know that Monday's are probably high on the busy list. But we are waiting patiently so maybe the company can hire someone to at least see that the clients are comfortable like hospitality. More
