I found a pre-owned 2013 Toyota Camry that I liked on Vandergrift Toyota website, called for a walk-around, and the agent I spoke with told me everything was okay. I relied on this information and went a Vandergrift Toyota website, called for a walk-around, and the agent I spoke with told me everything was okay. I relied on this information and went ahead to make a deposit for the vehicle. I drove 279 miles to the dealership on 10/17/13 to finalize the deal with a certified fund for the full amount to discover that everything the sales agent told me about the vehicle’s features (driver’s power seat) was missing. I spoke to sales manager, Robert and he spoke to me very rudely. I instantly requested to speak to the GM, he offered me another manager of same level instead. To cut the long story short, the deal fell apart when they couldn’t find me another vehicle with the feature I wanted, I even requested for lower year with that particular feature but none was in stock according to them. I was in the process of leaving the dealership when another sales manager Martin approached me to inform me of possibility of losing my $500 deposit. He was very defensive of everything I told him about the discussions I had with sales agent. As soon as I got back to my location, I shared my experience with the GM via email and my interest in another car but I didn’t receive any response until I made another call to the dealership on same brand with lower year. I had to drive another 279 miles to the dealership to purchase and no one, I repeat, no one deemed it fit to offer apology about the whole episode. The certificate of title that should have arrived three business days after cash payments according to them didn’t arrive. I made call to the dealership again on the fifth day to be informed that the lady had just finished working on it and would be overnight to my address. When I didn’t receive it on the seventh business day, I sent another email to the GM, and made several successful calls to the dealership, until someone finally callback to inform me a mistake the dealership made on the delivery address. As at the time of this feedback no one has called to least apologize for this kind of experience, not even their GM. Above all this dealership customer service is nothing to write home about, and will not recommend. More

In August, my husband took me to Vandergriff to get me a car. We were previously acquainted with Kamo from a previous purchase, so we decided to see him again. Kamo, as with the previous purchase, went car. We were previously acquainted with Kamo from a previous purchase, so we decided to see him again. Kamo, as with the previous purchase, went above and beyond to get us a second car. From the start he made us comfortable, and with his enthusiam, he made us feel important. Kamo is very knowledgable about Toyota vehicles, packages, and people in general. He answered every question we posed to him to the fullest, he gave us all aspects of the vehicle we purchased, and gave us helpful suggestions on maintenance. Kamo is the guy you want to go see. No pushy-salesman tactics, no cheesiness...he's the real deal. THANK YOU, KAMO! OLS More
Hello, Purchased used Kia Sportage 2007 for 16 yr old daughter on 6-29-2013. Since then I have been back to the dealership three times with no success. The Air Conditioner was not working when we test daughter on 6-29-2013. Since then I have been back to the dealership three times with no success. The Air Conditioner was not working when we test drove it so the salesman said they would fix it. We went back and bought the car that the salesman said had a factory warranty but it didn't when the Toyota financial guy talked to us. We did not buy a warranty and purchased the car. We assumed the ac was fixed but it was just filled with freon so it lasted 3 or 4 days till the freon leaked out. Some of the excuses by Toyota were - 1 my freon machine was not working good that day bring it back, 2) you bought the car as is (I did not know it had ac leak and vandergriff knew it did because they had the car over 30 days in inventory and would have filled it many times with freon for test drives), 3) you should have bought a warranty with us, 4) our mechanics cannot detect where the freon is leaking (the freon was leaking and I had it verified at Calloway Auto in North Richland Hills), we can't fix it right because then we would lose money on this deal, take it to a Kia dealership and have it fixed. This is deceptive car sales. Making it appear the ac was fixed and it wasn't when I bought it. This is why they are receiving a bad rating. Plus there favorite thing to do with unhappy customers is to keep transfering your phone call over and over again till you give up and hang up the phone. They wont tell you who they are transferring to you either. Please let me know if you will accept my report. Aaron 817-689-1404. If you have any suggestions on how to remedy this problem, I would be most anxious to hear it. Worked with Corey and Jackie Martin in Toyota Service and Sales Manager Martin Greenburg will not return my calls anymore. I left Mark messages on 8-1 and 8-4-2013. More
My girlfriend and I came to the dealer on July 3rd and settled on a car and price with the salesman she applied for loan through Toyota but wasn't able to get approved we went to credit union on the 5th a settled on a car and price with the salesman she applied for loan through Toyota but wasn't able to get approved we went to credit union on the 5th and got loan for the amount agreed upon and returned to dealership, spoke to same the same sales guy and he told us that the only way we could get the car was if we paid 2500 more than what was agreed upon 2 days prior. I asked him why the price can not be honored and he first said there was a different sales manager who wouldn't let him do it so I asked to speak with the first guy that he had spoke with on the 3rd, he then went to the back and came back and said that the reason they cannot do the original price is because someone already put money down on the car but if it fell through he would get back to us and let us know that the car was available. They emailed back today saying that he deal fell through and that the car is now available and he included the price that they would take and it was 500 more than they told us the second time and also higher than the posted Internet price! I responded back and gave phone number asking to have general manager call us back and haven't heard back yet.... More
