Vandergriff Honda Arlington has the very worst service department of any car dealer in the country. I purchased a used 2016 CRV last year. They went on and on about the 250 or so Check points they go thro department of any car dealer in the country. I purchased a used 2016 CRV last year. They went on and on about the 250 or so Check points they go through to guarantee a quality vehicle. Sunny Texas day I bought the vehicle. The very next day Im on the highway and a downpour hits all of a sudden. I turn on the windshield wipers and I am Blind! The wiper was improperly installed and was not wiping the glass. I didnt know what to do, I was in the middle lane of 55mph flowing traffic. Could NOT see anything. Thought I was dead if I hit the brakes ansd get rearended or hit a car infront of me. I went to the dealer the next day and my salesman looked at it clicked something with his fingernail and said, there you go! Fixed! Now its one year later and I decided to trade that vehicle in because of more issues it had and the milage was getting up there. I decided to go back there and get the same year model with less miles. Test drive and the brakes were making a horrible noise. I was presented with a paper showing repairs done the following day, in otherwords the repairs were dont in the future according to the paper. They called it a fat finger error. They insist they did the repairs. Maybe, maybe not, still not sure. They owed me a second key for the vehicle. I took it in last saturday, the 13th of November. They said its a two hour job to cut and program the key. I had a friend pick me up. Later in the day I went back for the vehicle. The service manager said I would be recieving a survey and if I would please fill it out because it effects his paycheck. He said they did a service check on the several points mentioned earlier. I looked him in the eye and said, "Did you really?" He said yes. I signed the paper and off I go. Im heading north on a major highway 360 and the hood starts to flutter and lift! Again, Im in the flow of traffic, trucks flying by and I do not know where to pull over with all the debris on the berm, not wanting a flat tire. I finally come to a stop in a merge lane and get out to see the hood WAS NOT CLOSED!! Im livid! Traffic flying by. This is the second time this service department has endangered my life. I called the shop and wanted to talk to the manager. Had to tell the story twice of course because they didnt put me through to the main manager I wanted to talk to first and the second one I talked to was like talking to the wall. A person with a desk plaque but NO common sence what so ever. His final words were, "well what do you want me to do about it?" I said you better think of something and call me back by Monday. I dont work Monday he says. What a twit. I said fine then Tuesday. Its Tuesday, no call and now the survey they sent me to fill out per the service manager has magicly disapeared from my email inbox. They have no regards for safety and could care less about hiring incompetent people from Managment to the service tecks. Useless and dangerous, Every one of them!! DO NOT USE VANDERGRIFF HOINDA FOR ANYTHING!! Support the small shade tree mechanic. The twits at Vandergriff are USELESS FOOLS!!! Endangering peoples lives and "what do you want me to do about it?" attitude. Did I say they are incompetent MORONS enough yet? More

I made an appt with a salesperson to check out civic r type. After greetings The salesperson says to me "let me get someone to make a deal" My response was ok but I want to know more about the car most im type. Then I learned that it is impossible because it is a collectors item. I am a serious customer. I am a doctor 60 years old. I have bought many new cars in my life. I was never denied a test drive much more expensive cars like BMW Porsche Mercedes Audi R8 Maserati and more. They can keep the car for what I care. There are other dealerships. Shame. More
