When we decided we wanted to test drive the Honda Odyssey, Jose Cruz was the one to pick up the phone and schedule us with a test drive the same day. We clearly conveyed today we wouldn't be buying, Odyssey, Jose Cruz was the one to pick up the phone and schedule us with a test drive the same day. We clearly conveyed today we wouldn't be buying, but really confirming if this was our vehicle of choice. Upon arrival, Jose was rather prompt and explained quickly he had to ask a few questions before our test drive and taking our DL#s. After asking valid questions, Jose quickly brought the vehicle around and started giving us a walk around tour of the vehicle. Jose was extremely knowledgeable and didn't miss a single detail. If there was an area of improvement, it would be around his car seat knowledge and what the vehicle had to offer - but he was great with every thing else in the vehicle. He was happy to hop in the back row with my husband to exemplify the room the vehicle had, and once we started the test drive, he shared even more about the vehicles powertrain, comparison to similar vehicles, and other models by Honda, too. It was a great perspective and honestly helped sell me on becoming a minivan mom. Jose was very kind and explaining different options, trims, etc. around the vehicle, and letting us test drive in a parking lot so I could see the maneuverability of the vehicle as well, since we weren't able to drive on the highway, which I was disappointed in, but he was respectful about the policy. When we got back to the dealership we had to leave promptly to pick up out kids, but Jose was offering to also show us the other trim levels on the used side so we could see the differences. Later in the day, he texted my husband with gratitude and a willingness to support us in our car buying process. In the last few days we've asked about a vehicle we're looking to sale, and also coming back to test our car seats and he's been responsive and respectful. I believe Jose is a great cars salesmen and at no time did I feel pressured. He made this process as painless as possible, and I look forward to updating this review once we buy our minivan from him. More
