I just bought a 2025 Honda Civic Sport and wanted to thank all the staff at Vandergriff Honda. Especially Ben Sherman!. I am a 53 yr old single woman with less than perfect credit. This was the first thank all the staff at Vandergriff Honda. Especially Ben Sherman!. I am a 53 yr old single woman with less than perfect credit. This was the first new car I have bought since 1999, so I was nervous and unsure of myself. I was referred to Benny by a friend who had just bought a car from Vandergriff. From the first moment that I reached out to Benny, he was attentive and was ready to listen - to answer any questions I had. He was always quick to respond anytime I called or texted him. The best part was I was able to handle most everything online - from picking out the car to financial pre-qualification so that when I went into to the dealership (after work), I was in and out in an hour and 15 minutes! Ben greeted me with kindness and enthusiasm, Ella assisted me in preliminary paperwork, then Malake Green, who works in finance, walked me through the loan. Never has buying a car been so painless. If you are buying a car…regardless of your situation…call Ben. I am proof that he will go out of his way and work to make it happen! More

My 6th car from VH. Others were 5 Star. This one has lost my trust and goodwill. I know they have “Mandatory” add-ons, but did not realize Zaktek was one now. I am movin Others were 5 Star. This one has lost my trust and goodwill. I know they have “Mandatory” add-ons, but did not realize Zaktek was one now. I am moving and it is not accepted at my new home, so is worthless to me, and I said so. Did not know they had added it onto my bill anyway until after the fact. After much discussion the sales director agreed to put in a check request and have $629 overnighted to me. That was June 10. Today is 6/13. No check. Mr Cox does not return my calls/text. If you don’t want to buy “mandatory” items without being told, you probably want to go to another Honda dealership. I wish I had! More

Beware, this dealership specializes in auto dealership fraud. I bought a 2015 VW CC with around 80k miles. I was deceived into believing the vehicle was inspected by a certified mechanic and there was fraud. I bought a 2015 VW CC with around 80k miles. I was deceived into believing the vehicle was inspected by a certified mechanic and there was no issues. I also bought the warranty just in case. I drove the vehicle for about 2 days and took the vehicle to Southwest Volkswagen dealership. They told me the vehicle had $5000 in work needed. Southwest Volkswagen stated vandergriff honda is shady and they took advantage of me. I took the vehicle back to vandergriff Honda. They agreed to cover some of the maintenance. The dealership kept my vehicle for over 2 months and let me know it was ready. I picked up the vehicle from the dealership and drove it for an hour and a half and the vehicle broke down in the middle of no where. I had the vehicle towed to a local shop named dosser garage. They inspected the vehicle and found the engine had locked up due to the poor work of the vandergriff service department. (Their words after inspecting my vehicle). Vandergriff Honda towed the vehicle back to their dealership just to let me know they would not be covering the engine and the warranty did not cover the engine either. I’m in the process of sharing my experience everywhere possible including BBB. Texas DMV has been assisting me as they are saying dealership could be subject to fines. I also have started working with an auto dealer fraud & consumer rights lawyer to sue the dealership. Will provide updates as they come in. More
