Vandergriff Honda and it's SALES staff particularly Hung Nguyen went above and beyond what I ever expected to satisfy what I was needing and wanted. The finance department obviously don't have competent people. I bought my car on March 27 and as of April 15 they still HAVE NOT paid off the Honda I traded in which was in my contract. They called us out 4 days later to resign another contract, "they said it was a better deal". Once we got there nothing else was ever signed. It was a wasted trip (I live 40 miles away). I have since then talked to several people that have had similar experiences w/the finance department. So as of this date I'm not sure wether I really own the car or not! If not I want my old car back and the down payment I gave them! More

Being a person who doesn't trust many people, I found myself quite trusting of my salesman Josh Ladd. He even confronted me with the trust and allowed me to play run around. I used the next few days to check other dealerships and compare their prices and cars. What I found were higher prices and dirty cars. Vandergriff's detail persons deserve praise because they too help sell the cars. It was my memeory of how clean the Honda I looked at that made me compare others Hondas to the car at Vandergriff. With the cleaniness and price of the car, I knew I really wanted the car. On Saturday, during evening snow, I received a call from Josh asking if I was ready to buy the car. Having made up my mind to not be quick to buy, I said yes I was ready to buy from Vandergriff. Josh made my visit and purchase smooth. Everytime I yanked my hand back, he kept holding his out asking me to trust him. I am not sure if I trusted him because he was a military man or because he asked me to, but I do know if it wasn't for him, I would not be driving my Accord today.
