I came into the dealership with pre-approved financing through American Honda. The dealership didn't exceed my approval price. They didn't try to sell me anything I wasn't interested in. Chris was very patient in handling all my paperwork once we agreed on the numbers because after I came home to Wichita Falls, a few days later they told me they needed me to sign some other papers and etc., but I told them it was quite a drive for me to come all the way there but Chris told me not to worry about it and was really patient. There was no hassle or anything. I never felt pressured to buy a car. Just real friendly people. Gave me a great price on the vehicle i bought (07 acura TL). I dont think I wouldve gotten a better deal elsewhere. Would definitely recommend this dealership to my friends and family in the future. I actually live in Wichita Falls but decided to goto Vandergriff Honda in Arlington rather than buy at the local Honda dealership here. I actually bought two cars from Vandergriff Honda in the past 6 months. I first bought an 07 Accord back in November that I got a really good deal on. However, I was really wanting to trade it in for a new past 6 months. I first bought an 07 Accord back in November that I got a really good deal on. At first I didnt think it would be possible for me to trade in a car so quickly, however I got approved after dealing with Chris. I got a really good deal on my car. They even took care of everything they said they would. The car that I purchased had not been certified so I brought it back to the dealership and they took care of it. They even put new tires on the vehicle even though I didnt think it needed. I had a great experience dealing with them. I would recommend them to all my family and friends. More

Vandergriff sold me a Honda Odyssey that had been in an accident that did not show up on CarFax. The damage was to the door panel on a sliding door and was not really noticeable, but I did not want a car accident that did not show up on CarFax. My new accord is great, even though I had in countered a minor error, Rene was there to intercept any potential problem and fixed it posthastley. I have just left Vandergriff Honda in a brand new CRV! I had no intention of purchasing a car today and AM NOT an impulse buyer! I am a single parent with a strict budget and consider myself an educated consumer. My experience began with an email response that was prompt and polite. Followed by a voice mail equally as pleasant.I did not call back as I was planning on purchasing this car in about 8 weeks. I received my next call one day later and explained what I felt to be a next to impossible situation(strict budget and $5000.00 negative equity) and Tony assured me he could help me and invited me to the dealership. I figured if we had time we would swing by. I arrived at the dealership with my teenage daughter (car is for her)and was greeted immediately and Tony came to the front. We went back to a cubicle and discussed my trade in....and my budget.Tony took a sincere interest in our personal situation without feeling "phony". We went and looked at the available inventory and chose a car... then went to crunch numbers. I braced myself for "the battle" but was surprised to find I was dealt with in the MOST respectful manner.After the third time of Tony going back to the finance office I knew my situation was next to impossible...He came back with Michael Ackels.I thought "here we go... good cop bad cop" WOW!!! Was I surprised!!!! He asked a few more questions about my needs and left to see what he could do. He showed the most sincere interest in my needs and my limitations and looked at my daughter as though it were his own....What a great feeling for a parent. He came back with a number that fit both my needs, my limits, AND included FIVE THOUSAND dollars of Negative equity!!!! I could not believe it! If you think your situation is impossible GIVE THEM A CHANCE!!!! I was not pressured,I was EDUCATED! How refreshing!!! My sweet daughter is now in a vehicle she can take off to college in with her mom(single parent) feeling PEACE that she is safe and I am not BROKE!!!! I could not have had a more POSITIVE experience!!I will recommend ANYONE regardless of your limitations to visit Vandergriff Honda in ARLINGTON! You WILL NOT be disappointed!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!! Need more women salespersons. Salespersons need to be more knowledgeable about vehicle accessories. Jake was great tho. Eased my worries and calmed my fears.
