Vandergriff Honda is by far the best dealership I have ever dealt with in my 82 years of life. I went from a 2007 Toyota to my 2021 CRV. The technology was overwhelming to say the least. Chris Lapid is my service advisor and he is by far the best advisor I have EVER had for servicing my cars. He is so knowledgeable and has been able to fix anything I was having trouble with. Don Lee was a very good salesman and really went to bat for me. He was aggressive on pricing and my trade. We negotiated the trade value in advance and they honored it when I showed them the vehicle. Another dealer had a better net price by about $750 which Don convinced his management to match. Unfortunately, Don has no power over the Finance Department - they were unable or unwilling to give me the agreements they wanted me to sign before I went down there. On top of that, when I finally got into Finance, they wasted my time trying repeatedly to sell me extra stuff I did not want. When 2 seconds turned into 10-15 minutes and a sales pitch from the finance director, I got up and walked out. I had told Don I was on a schedule and needed to leave by 3:30. The Finance department could have cared less. When I asked for my car keys, Don and his management asked what they could do to save the deal. I suggested they bring the vehicle and paperwork to my residence and we could complete the deal. Don was very willing and apologized for the finance department's delays. He drove about 75 miles to my residence and delivered the vehicle with the paperwork. I signed most of it. 1. I did not agree to the Zaktek paint treatment as I did not want it. 2. They asked me to sign a blank Statement of Fact/Correction document where nothing was filled in - I declined to sign it until it was filled in. 3. They asked me to sign a Conditional Delivery Agreement whereby I agreed to return the vehicle to the dealership in two weeks or they could seek legal redress. It made no sense to agree tot that. I offered to pay cash but they required me to finance it to qualify for a $500 rebate. I went with the 2.49% rate for 36 months. More

Finally they told me $56 k which they said included TT&L. Wow $10 for TT & l is very ,very high. I kept asking for details and one said $6,318 for accessories. The Civic Type-R is fully loaded with every feature, accessories, option standard. These unprofessional. liars are adding ADM ( Additional Dealer Markup) to their cars and don't even have the guts or professionalism to tell you. Don't do business with them; very dishonest More
