Terry Shook kept our Business My wife took in a 2012 Camaro to have some diagnostics done to it. She spoke to Lane Tapp (service department). We told Lane we might be interested My wife took in a 2012 Camaro to have some diagnostics done to it. She spoke to Lane Tapp (service department). We told Lane we might be interested in a new vehicle. He put us in touch with Terry Shook and gave us a run down on possible accessories, and then handed us over to Terry. Terry did everything he could to meet our needs. Terry showed us what we wanted. He took a good part of the afternoon answering questions and grabbing different sets of keys. I think we walked the entire lot. Showed us a Tahoe(new), but after looking at it, the Tahoe did not meet my wife's needs. At the end of the day, we didnt buy...Terry made an appointment with us the next day. The next day, we went in to tell him we decided against a purchase. Terry did not waiver; he was genuine and sincere. Terry offered to walk around the lot to see if anything else met my wife's interest besides the Tahoe. Of course, the 2017 Texas Edition Silverado stood at the head of the pack. We walked the parking lot for hours looking for specific options. Terry ran back and forth grabbing key set after key set, and always returned with a smile. In the back of his mind he was aware we might walk away with nothing, but his favorable and optimistic attitude persisted. My wife found the hidden diamond....soooo we thought. We drove it, everything was perfect except the color. We started the hunt again and voila...we found it. 2 hours later, we purchased a graphite metallic, 2017, Z71, off road, 4x4, Texas Edition truck. Ethan worked all the accessories and had them installed within 24 hours. Thank you Terry Shook. You are one of a kind and I hope to see you again in the future. Great experience I bought in 2014 silverado had problem with traction control. Layen Tapp was the service person I talked he was very helpful. Gathered all the information he needed asked if I could leave it for three or four days . I couldn't, this was my only vehicle . He got me into a loaner vehicle.The whole process went very fast.He kept me informed of my vehicle and what needed to be done to solve my issue.It went great.Solved the problem, trucks running great. Train Wreck I purchased a pre-owned Toyota Avalon from Vandergriff Chevrolet. Once I drove it off the lots, and didn't have a salesman talking to me the entire t I purchased a pre-owned Toyota Avalon from Vandergriff Chevrolet. Once I drove it off the lots, and didn't have a salesman talking to me the entire time I was driving, I heard all kids of noises, and knew something was wrong with the car. I took it to a Toyota dealership the next day, and found out that the car had been in a wreck (which wasn't reported on the CarFax, but there was significant damage to the under-side of the car), and the front two from wheel bearings needed to be replaced, along with the front axle shaft. The two front struts had already been replaced. The car only had 49k miles! The dealership did take the car back, but Dan Baily, the Sales Manager, was not friendly about it, and I'm out $1,000 from time off of work dealing with this. Also, Awadi Mohamed was the worst salesman I've ever dealt with. I didn't trust a word coming out of his mouth. Dan, one of the other salesmen, was the only person that apologized for this fiasco. Does this dealership even do a safety inspection on their cars??? I will never go to another Vandergriff dealership, and will never recommend them. More
