I went to vandergriff to check out a certified 2020 silverado Ltz texas edition. I gave the salesman (Alex) my keys to get my truck appraised. Ten minutes later the sales manager came back and said he silverado Ltz texas edition. I gave the salesman (Alex) my keys to get my truck appraised. Ten minutes later the sales manager came back and said he would give me 22,000 for my truck. That is 4 to 6 thousand under lowest trade in value. My truck has 42k miles on it and it's a 2015. When I told him he wasn't even offering trade in value, he argued with me and told me it was. I said kelly blue book has me at 26.5k and that was low end value. He told me kelly blue book is old and behind the times and antiquated. I hate to be lied to. I hate to be ripped off. I've bought at least 3 cars from vandergriff. I worked for gm Arlington for 40 years. Bought many a car. Never from Vandergriff again. Shame on you vandergriff, you can't always hit a home run. More
