At first Salesperson James Bao seemed knowledgeable and showed good customer service but that soon changed once a deal was met (used car purchase). His inability to answer specific questions concerning the showed good customer service but that soon changed once a deal was met (used car purchase). His inability to answer specific questions concerning the delay in delivering my vehicle spiraled out of control. The finance paper work was completed on the 8/17/11 and come 8/29/11 my vehicle still had not been delivered to me. The vehicle was test driven on the 17th and I noticed it pulled to the left badly and that the (2) rear tires needed to be replaced. So the staff agreed to replace the tires and align the vehicle prior to delivery. For the next 13 days I was consistantly promised the vehicle was ready for pickup but that was nothing but lies and the famous TX 2 Step. I finally got tired of playing phone tag and not having my questions answered I decided to meet with the General Mgr Robert Knowles (on 8/30/11) thinking he would be able to correct the obvious wrongs of his sales staff. Wow was I ever wrong and here is why. The GM is an arrogant pompous idiot who thinks more of himself then he really is. I sat down and tried my best to explain what had taken place since the 17th of Aug, that I was into my financing approximately 14 days, had yet to drive my vehicle home (which was a good thing in the end), that his sales people failed to stay in contact with me concerning the delay in vehicle delivery and his initial reaction to me was that his staff had done nothing wrong (he defended them tooth and nail) and that he was not about to in his words" throw money at customers to buy a car". That if i did not want that car, he would buy it back and sell it and cars like it very easily. Since GM Knowles preferred to buy deals back vs. sell vehicles and complete deals that had been reached, thought nothing of putting the customer first, i decided to grant his wish and the deal was cancelled. The vehicle was originally purchased by me for $18,300 and is now back on his web site with a sales price of $20,000 (9) days later. More

Eric Blair worked for about a month with me to make sure i knew exactly what i wanted and made himself availible for all of my questions. He worked extremly hard to make sure i stayed in my price range and i knew exactly what i wanted and made himself availible for all of my questions. He worked extremly hard to make sure i stayed in my price range and received the type of vehicle i needed for the addition to my family. I am very pleased with his knowledge of the business and his willingness to serve me as the customer. I have already recommended Eric Blair to people that admire my TL. Ms. Williams was wonderful. You all have taught her well. She tried her best to sale every extra package you offer, in a timely manner. She was friendly and knowlegable even though she is new. Thanks for hiring great employees. As long as I drive a Acura, Vandergriff and Eric Blair will be my dealership and counsultant. Blessings, Yolanda Hanspard More

I’ll admit buying a car is not usually much fun. However, my recent experience with Vandergriff Acura was in fact extremely easy and enjoyable. I highly recommend them if you need a new Acura in DFW area. I recently bought a 2011 RDX from them in late Dec 2010. I try to be an informed buyer and I believe this helps. I do a bit of upfront work visiting various online car sites (general ones such as Edmunds) to read reviews. Then out to some dealers to test drive various possible car alternatives. Once the short list is determined, brand specific websites (such as Acurazine) help provide additional user insight, experiences and general pricing trends. There are 4 Acura dealers in DFW area and Vandergriff is clearly not the closest one to me. However, they seem to have an honest and friendly approach… hey, I like that they have employee pictures on the website. This is the second time I have dealt with the Internet director Steve Morrell. He’s a great guy with years of experience and a clear a love of what he does. By the way, the first interaction didn’t materialize in a sale for them…( I tried to purchase a 2009 TSX manual but they didn’t have this scarce model in stock, so I ultimately purchased it out of State). Once we decided on a RDX, we reached out to the various Acura dealers. I sent emails out and Steve was the most responsive while providing a reasonable price right off the bat – just the way it should be. We confirmed things via email and then I phoned him late on a Saturday night and completed the sale for pickup on Monday. Arriving on Monday, the vehicle actually had a 150+ more miles on it than he said to me on the phone… so he let me know up front and threw in set of mats to make good… no issues or big deal but certainly a nice touch on his part. We completed the transaction in less than a couple hours including working with finance (nice straight forward process) and drove it home. All in all, a very enjoyable experience! More

Travelled 200 miles to get there and was told they would not honor the price. I would have to lease to get close and pay a large payment of the end of the lease. WHAT. Don't recall the saleman's name but he manager Robert Knowles was even slimier than the saleman. IMPORTANT NOTE: JOE BLAIR IS ACTUALLY ROBERT KNOWLES WHO HAPPENS TO BE THE MANAGER OF THIS STORE. I THINK HE BROKE THE RULES AND CONDITIONS OF THIS REVIEW. I WONDER HOW MANY OTHER EMPLOYEES DID THE SAME. ----PATHETIC-------GO SOMEWHERE ELSE TO BUY YOUR ACURA More
I can't say enough good things about Vince and the service he provides. He goes out of his way to be helpful and always remembers us and the specifics of the service we want such as synthetic oil. Bought a used car. I was first told that it had a 77 point "safety" inspection, then a 127 point inspection. Where all safety features were checked and all fluids replaced. On my way home it got dark point "safety" inspection, then a 127 point inspection. Where all safety features were checked and all fluids replaced. On my way home it got dark and I saw 3 warning lights on for the brake and steering assist systems. All fluids were low in the car, overfill for radiator empty, brake fluid below minimum (causing the warning lights to come on), and power steering fluid was at min cold when the car was hot, and the oil was very dirty for having just being test driven. The air filter was black and full of hair. They would not take money off the price for bald tires that they said were still passable. Then they forgot to put on my inspection sticker.Went to get sticker was told tires were too bald to pass but would luckily let me slide. When I called to tell the manager that they forgot the sticker he only went "psssssh, well they should have. I told him the fluids were low and he only wanted to argue with me that the overfill should be empty when it clearly has a min and max indicator on the reservoir. I did not receive so much as a "sorry bout that" from him. Horrible customer service from the management. And I feel that this "safety inspection" was never done or they would have topped off the fluids and put some decent tires on this car. They let me drive home 400 miles on bald tires. More
