We have had a terrible experience with this dealership. Bought a used truck, purchased a $4000 warranty that we were told would cover everything, which was incorrect. The backup camera was going out, took the truck back up there to have that and some other items checked out and they charged us $150 for inspecting the truck! Failed to tell us that wasn’t included in the warranty package we bought! Every other warranty package we’ve ever purchased has always included them checking the truck out. We were told that we’d be informed of items not included in the warranty and we’re not. Very upset and will NEVER a purchase anything else from a Vandergriff dealership nor will I recommend them to anyone. More
If I could give them ZERO stars I would. I took my car in for an oil change. Kevin told me that I needed an alignment. I chose to have them do a tire rotation and wanted to take my car to my regular dealership Hiley Acura and have them look at the car. However, Kevin came to me and said he needed to leave and another tech Randy was taking over. (However, Kevin was actually there the whole time!) I asked Randy to cancel the tire rotation and just do the oil change. He went back and said he caught them in time. However, when I checked out, Randy said that they actually did the tire rotation. I had been waiting for over 2 hours and had an appointment I needed to make. I should have checked my tires before I left (that's on me), but needed to leave. They did NOT do the tire rotation but charged me for it. I called right away and told Randy I was really upset. He asked me if I wanted a refund. Um, yes, you charged me for work you did NOT do! I told him I could come directly up there and show him. He said he would call me back after talking to his manager. That was on 5/2. It's now 4 days later...no call and no refund. I have left several message. Guess I need to file with my credit card for fraud! Do NOT take your car here. More

No loaner needed (which is a favor for them as it will be available to someone else). Pick up can be 7am and needs to be back at 7pm when she gets off. She works 4 miles from the dealership. Last time Ricky the service manager had to run the car himself. It was not done before the valets all left. Ricky Sandoval was a stand up do it all guy. Huge loss to their organization. This time it happens again. My options they gave me are 1. Get her car tomorrow? How does she get to work and home tonight? 2. Offered to uber her home and get the car to her tomorrow. How does she get to work? Offered to Uber her in the morning just have her call. At 6am? nobody to take the call to get her Uber. 3. I had to tell them to leave the keys with receptionist and Uber my wife to the dealership. Which is a huge inconvenience for someone who just worked 12 hours in an ER. Was told this was my fault btw. I did not answer their call at 3:16pm. I called back at 4:45 and needed the car back to my wife at 7pm. No way that could happen from their efforts? Because they let Ricky Sandoval find a better opportunity and nobody else stepped up to put the customer first. More

Advertised Stock # ML033760 2021 RDX for $44,914. I emailed the dealership asking for all added fees. Osvaldo Lopez replied and questioned what fees I was asking about. I drove over 40 miles from Plano and test drove the car. I liked it and when they brought me the offer they added over $5000 in reconditioning and other hidden fees .The fees made the car over $50.000. This was not including TT&L. this is a dis honest "Bait and Switch". Park Place and Goodsen Acura's online price is the price. Thanks for wasting my time Osvaldo and Vandergriff Acura. I even showed them the work sheet from Goodsen on Stock # LML03923 showing nothing other than TT&L. The sale manager blew me off and walked away. The advertised price on line is "Bait and Switch". Do yourself a favor and buy from anyone other than Vandergriff Acura. I am sure this deceptive business model goes on at all their dealerships. More

They give you the run around with prices, and if the they service your vehicle and the problem is not solved, don't look for a refund or even quality service to look into your issue deeper. They are excellent at giving the customer ALOT of excuses, it's almost as if they are reading a script. It's laughable. If I could give less than one star I definitely would. The only service they seem competent to do is an oil change and tire rotation. Vandergriff Acura do better. More
I traded my 2009 dodge ram 1500 and $700 for a 2013 Ford edge. The Ford edge has a alot of issues that didnt appear until a week after I bought it. My husband and I recently purchased a used 2021 TLX A-Spec. Before stepping into the details, I’ll just say this Vandergriff Acura truly is a top notch dealership and one I’d highly recommend. Before Vandergriff, I thought my previous dealer Sewell BMW was as good as it gets but Vandergriff impressed both of us with a truly relaxed no pressure buying experience. Though we loved the car, when it came to interest rates being high, trade in value we were over budget yet our salesman Osvaldo as well as Shawn in finance really pulled out all the stops to make it work for us and we signed the papers and drove off happy. When we got home however, (it was dark when we purchased) we discovered scratches on the car that had we noticed in person or even via the pics online we would’ve likely not gone ahead with it. I realized we bought the car as is and should’ve caught it (it was 9pm or so when we left) so I polished the best I could but the scratches were so severe on the bumper and side door (down to plastic and metal) that it needed to be done professionally. We called the GM, explained the situation in that the car wasn’t ready for sale. We even admitted we should’ve caught the scratches and would be happy to meet in the middle to lower the repair cost or it would leave a bad taste in what was otherwise a wonderful dealership experience. Other dealers would’ve said, nah you bought as-is you’re on your own. Vandergriff Acura did the exact opposite and took care of it free of charge! Osvaldo got our car in the following week and even put us in a loaner Acura TLX (not just something from a rental car lot) and was in constant communication with us throughout the process. We now have the car back and we couldn’t be happier with it and the way Vandergriff Acura and Osvaldo handled the situation makes us recommend them even more so. If you’re in the market for an Acura GO to Vandergriff and ask for Osvaldo. He will take great care of you! More
