DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! ! 6 months ago I bought a used car and it has been back in forth in their shop since. I’ve driven their loaner vehicle more than my own car. First problem was they let me buy it knowing it wouldn’t even pass a state inspection!! There was an issue in the steering column, making it extremely dangerous to drive. I didn’t notice when test driving, since they only let me go around on the side streets and not onto the highway or any busy roads. the horn didn’t work, cruise control didn’t work, nor did any other buttons on the steering wheel work. this is only just the beginning of all the issues that accumulated. eventually the entire engine needed to be replaced, which I was told was a brand new engine. I find out that it was a used engine with multiple spark plugs misfiring. Multiple issues arise including wires being fried, wires not being connected, oil leaking throughout the engine, causing pieces of metal to fly off and lock up the engine. I don’t know much about cars, which is why I decided to purchase from a “reputable dealership” that I figured would have their customers best interest in mind. Clearly that is not the case. I feel 100% been scammed in this whole situation. I even tried to talk to the sales manager, not once but twice to trade out the vehicle. He was extremely condescending, rude and sexist not once but both times we spoke. he told me that I just needed to smile more. I highly doubt that a statement like that is something he would say if a man was sitting in front of him and not a young woman. this dealership is shady and sketchy, and I absolutely wouldn’t recommend anyone ever doing business or purchasing a vehicle from Vandergriff Acura Arlington. I tried to trade in my vehicle for a another that cost less than the original one that I was having issues with and they still couldn’t get my payments down to the same payment without making me upside down on my loan. I was told if I would have traded it in within 30 days it would’ve been an even fair trade, which I was also never informed about. I didn’t even have the vehicle in my possession at the time because it had already been in their service department after having it for 2 weeks. They had it for almost 2 months the first time they tried to fix it. I’ve never written a bad review, but after 6 months, I have given the company plenty of time to make this right. they have proven profit is more important than their customers and their reputation. The absolute worst car purchase experience in my life after buying 15 cars. They advertised a price on-line of $35,700, but because my trade came in low they offered me $34,000. They wrote the deal up at $39,000, but the net AFTER trade was $33,900 so I thought it was good. When I went back they gave me a check for only $1500 and explained the difference in purchase price is in the fine print. These are DISHONEST people from my salesperson JB to the pre-owned manager. The most unscrupulous dealership I have ever dealt with. STAY FAR, FAR AWAY!!! More

Brought my vehicle in to get AC looked at and waited over 5 hours to be told it was just now being revised. Appointment was great one in the morning at 8 am is now 1:15pm. We have had a terrible experience with this dealership. Bought a used truck, purchased a $4000 warranty that we were told would cover everything, which was incorrect. The backup camera was going out, took the truck back up there to have that and some other items checked out and they charged us $150 for inspecting the truck! Failed to tell us that wasn’t included in the warranty package we bought! Every other warranty package we’ve ever purchased has always included them checking the truck out. We were told that we’d be informed of items not included in the warranty and we’re not. Very upset and will NEVER a purchase anything else from a Vandergriff dealership nor will I recommend them to anyone. More
If I could give them ZERO stars I would. I took my car in for an oil change. Kevin told me that I needed an alignment. I chose to have them do a tire rotation and wanted to take my car to my regular dealership Hiley Acura and have them look at the car. However, Kevin came to me and said he needed to leave and another tech Randy was taking over. (However, Kevin was actually there the whole time!) I asked Randy to cancel the tire rotation and just do the oil change. He went back and said he caught them in time. However, when I checked out, Randy said that they actually did the tire rotation. I had been waiting for over 2 hours and had an appointment I needed to make. I should have checked my tires before I left (that's on me), but needed to leave. They did NOT do the tire rotation but charged me for it. I called right away and told Randy I was really upset. He asked me if I wanted a refund. Um, yes, you charged me for work you did NOT do! I told him I could come directly up there and show him. He said he would call me back after talking to his manager. That was on 5/2. It's now 4 days later...no call and no refund. I have left several message. Guess I need to file with my credit card for fraud! Do NOT take your car here. More

No loaner needed (which is a favor for them as it will be available to someone else). Pick up can be 7am and needs to be back at 7pm when she gets off. She works 4 miles from the dealership. Last time Ricky the service manager had to run the car himself. It was not done before the valets all left. Ricky Sandoval was a stand up do it all guy. Huge loss to their organization. This time it happens again. My options they gave me are 1. Get her car tomorrow? How does she get to work and home tonight? 2. Offered to uber her home and get the car to her tomorrow. How does she get to work? Offered to Uber her in the morning just have her call. At 6am? nobody to take the call to get her Uber. 3. I had to tell them to leave the keys with receptionist and Uber my wife to the dealership. Which is a huge inconvenience for someone who just worked 12 hours in an ER. Was told this was my fault btw. I did not answer their call at 3:16pm. I called back at 4:45 and needed the car back to my wife at 7pm. No way that could happen from their efforts? Because they let Ricky Sandoval find a better opportunity and nobody else stepped up to put the customer first. More
