If I have to go back it will be too soon So I went on-line to schedule. A list of items came up. Vehicle was sputtering so I picked replace fuel filter (it said it was due). I added a note that questioned whether this would correct the issue. No one called tok discuss. I get to the dealer and the first comment is that this vehicle doesn't have a replaceable fuel filter. I asked why it would "state-replace it" then? He played with his computer and said maybe it did have a replacement filter. He stated that this might not correct the issue so I told them to do a diagnostic check. They called 3 hours later and said that there is an issue with these rigs with carbo deposit-deep plug placement etc and said that they should do a fuel treatment first to get them out (another $100+700 for the 'tuneup'). Well I need the truck so I told them to do it. $1100 later and 5:15 I called them so they wouldn't close before I was able to get rig. They said that they were driving and to come down in 30 minutes. I get there - 545; there is no one there to discuss the issue- they just pass you off to the cashier and they were too cheap or lazy to wash it. So now, the next day after driving 30 miles to work, the engine light is on. So I am back "waiting" for a status update and my vehicle. This place has the least friendly, least enthusiastic, least customer service oriented place I've ever been to a less professional place. But Wait, it gets better (or not). I bring it in with the engine light on. They mark-wash truck and come back with it unwashed AND tell me the cat converter is burned out and would be over $1500 for Ford to replace. Steve Bushey is fantastic Usually working with a car salesman is just that, working with a cheesy salesman. Steve Bushey is the opposite of that.
