Ok I'm giving this review because cj is the best car salesman I've met so far. I went there for 3 different cars- two 2012 chevy impalas and a 2010 suzuki. They were all sold by the time I got there. One of them was sold just five minutes before,and had the nerve to be parked outside by my grandmas car ;( Instead of doing what most dealers do and just saying these things happen,then try to push a hooptie on me,he kept searching for a car that I really wanted. Basically I put this poor man through xxxx. He took the time to drive me and my mom around about 3 or 4 vandevere lots looking for the vehicle I wanted. I found two cars I really liked at vandevere buick. He worked really hard to get the best kind of financing for me and I was able to get the car I wanted. Even got me zero down.There's a little more to the story but to make it short(too late?) Cj spent time with me and got me what I wanted so now I'm driving around in a 2008 nissan altima coupe with a nicely padded bank account. The car buying experience here was pleasant....everyone is very nice in the dealership. I am not convinced that the quality they put into the inspection of their used vehicles is that great....because my v is very nice in the dealership. I am not convinced that the quality they put into the inspection of their used vehicles is that great....because my vehicle was sold to me with the check engine light on, and even though it was agreed upon that they would fix it on their dime as part of the "We Owe, You Owe" form, it was like pulling teeth trying to get it fixed. I dropped my car off on Sunday night to be fixed on Monday, and they called to tell me that a sensor had to be replaced but they didn't have it in stock, so I wouldn't get my car back until Tuesday and they refused to give me a replacement vehicle or a rental. I even talked to the salesman and he didn't do anything to help my situation for getting a rental. My car had to be fixed again on Tuesday because they put the WRONG part in my car and the check engine light came on again while the car was on it's way back to me. They did offer to get me into a rental on Tuesday while they still had my car on their expense before I could ask. The service guy had no explanation as to why they put the wrong part in my vehicle, but it doesn't leave me feeling good about taking my vehicle there for future service. I understand mistakes happen, but there should be checks and balances in place to avoid something like that happening. The check engine light was noticed only after the key had been found to my car...which I was told was "lost" a few days before. I honestly think that they would've tried to sell me this vehicle without me looking at it or test driving it and I feel like they were trying to get one over on me. I was told that they had a locksmith out to get a key made for the car, but it's been 7 days and nothing has been mentioned about getting me a 2nd key or a key fob. This dealership promises lots of nice things, but you really need to be aggressive for getting what you believe you should get from this dealership, especially when buying a used car. Make sure you get it down in writing BEFORE you sign the papers, because once you sign and they have their money it's almost like they are done giving you anything as a customer. More

This was our first time at Van Devere and we would recommend this dealership to anyone! The people are friendly and patient. They explained things very clearly to us and we felt very comfortable. He spent a lot of time with us and explained everything in detail. He made us both very comfortable during the buying experience and then followed up after the purchase to make sure my father had all the information he needed and was completely happy with his new vehicle. Beware of Van Devere auto dealerships in northeast Ohio (http://vandevere.com/). These guys are the biggest bunch of crooks in the auto industry. They love to sell you the extended warranty and then find ways to get out of providing coverage when you need it the most. Bottom line is that I bought an 08 Jeep from them in 2010 and paid $2000 for an extended warranty, and I just paid $5000 to put a new engine in it. "Sorry but the warranty you paid $2000 for is not valid under these circumstances." Well done Van Devere - with your shady business practices and xxxx-poor customer service you will never get a dime of my business ever again. More
