Purchase a new Subaru Two weeks after the sale, and the only thing I have received in follow-up is a insensitive Robo email. Have not heard from any Personnel at the dealership. During the process of trying to purchase a car I left numerous messages with both Sales Management and sales personnel, only to not be returned. After making contact with them the next day, I was told they were just too busy to return the phone call. Just what you want to hear when you're trying to purchase a new car. The left hand didn't know what the right hand was doing most of the time. The only positive is I was happy with the price, but the rest of the experience left a very bad taste More

We were trading in two vehicles for one and had several phone conversations over the trade in's, payoffs, etc. Set the appointment to complete the deal and found out they would not honor the numbers they put in their email to me. Claimed they didn't know about one of the trade in's have a lien. Turns out they had multiple people working this and they failed to talk to each other. They came back with a number about $2500 higher than what we had agreed upon. They made two additional discounted offers the next day but at that time I was at another dealer and closed on the exact same vehicle for $1200 less than their best counter. The Van Auto Group will never seem me grace their doorstep again. More

They did not perform the repairs because Initially I told them that I just wanted a diagnostics so I bought the sensor and replaced it in 40 minutes. The sensor did not resolve the problem in which according to the tech line was the problem Waste $174.04 since the sensor was good. Cannot believe they were going to charge me $381.96 for probably an hour of labor Even I had to paid $139.95 for bad diagnostics I strongly believe that the tech line were just guessing the solution I am glad I did not pay for the repairs next step is to contact Subaru headquarters and fallow a complaint against Van Subaru Dealer what a nightmare and lies. I never go back. Watch out! More
Toyed with me and lost a guaranteed sale. I went in with the full intention of purchasing a specific car they had on their lot. I drove in with my trade and was offered almost $2000 less than I went in with the full intention of purchasing a specific car they had on their lot. I drove in with my trade and was offered almost $2000 less than both KBB and Edmunds fair trade value. They would not move on the price of the car because they said they only had $700 margin in it, yet a few days after I went in they had marked it down $1200 on their website. I also told them my credit and got an estimated rate of 9.99%. My credit union had already pre-approved me for 3.49%! I wanted to give them a shot at the financing as a negotiation tool to get them to move on the price of the car or the trade, but they were so focused on trying to make a killing on me that I walked out without buying the car I had walked in planning to buy. I've bought a lot of cars in my life and this was the worst car buying experience I've ever had. Do yourself a favor and avoid this dealership at all costs. More

Only after getting a bit angry did they make that right. Personally, I would recommend going to a different dealer. More

Sales Manager Ben Johnson helped me understand the advantage of Subaru technology. Beyond that, once the sale was completed I discovered a misunderstanding that left me a feeling disappointed. Ben and Van Subaru stepped up and rectified the issue to my complete satisfaction. I have nothing but great things to say for Van Subaru. If I still lived in Kansas City, they would be my lifelong car dealer. More
