My car has almost 100k miles on it and had been taking it to a different service center for the last 2 years. However, they no longer service Mazda and recommended I take it to Van Horn. From the very first time they listed to my issues and I believe found other issue my previous provider neglected. I find it impressive that the use my first name in all our discussion. Predictably thorough and accurate service. This visit, like previous, keeps me coming back. Is part of the reason my 122,500 mile car looks and runs like new. While I had to rate price great, I like others would always like a lower price. But, I think what I got for the money, compared to; for example; service on my 'Vette at my local Chevy dealer, is outstanding. I always feel like I got great value for my dollar. I definitely appreciate options; what can I put off to next service visit, what is essential for safe, economical performance now is something Van Horn Service Advisors do very well. More

When I called up to make the appointment Brian was very friendly and he got me in for an oil change within two days at a time that was good for me. When I got at the dealership Vail waited on me within a friendly and he got me in for an oil change within two days at a time that was good for me. When I got at the dealership Vail waited on me within a short amount of time, but all the service advisors were very friendly when I got at the dealership. I received a notice for a recall on our 2008 Hyundai Entourage and followed the directions to make an appointment online. The response was unexpectedly immediate to get me in ASAP. I was somewhat apprehensive as our vehicle was purchased used from another Dealer. .Imagine my surprise at the very pleasant, professional and courteous reception by not only the Service personnel , but by all I encountered at this Dealership! ( Especially after they told me and explained the vehicle had 4 recalls instead of the one I had been contacted about by Hyundai) This was opposite the negative, disrespectful, lip service only, type of customer service most Dealerships seem to offer nowadays. A most impressive experience and you can be sure I will tell all the people I know, that I will highly recommend you! Your Team truly fully understands what customer service is all about! Poor review for failing to provide requested service (conventional "dino" oil used instead of Mobil 1 oil change) and weasely lack of accountability. When I phoned to set up the appointment, I specifically asked for Mobil 1, so imagine my frustration when I found that it was not used. My call to set up the appointment doesn't count? No. Apparently what I said when I called doesn't count. Service history? You don't check to see that I've been using Mobil 1 since my first change? No again. And why do I have to jump through hoops to update my MPG rewards card when it was Hyundai's lies that forced this program? Don't tell me, as your service adviser did, that "it's Hyundai." You're Hyundai to me. The buck stops at your desk. And when I asked the receptionist/clerk if that was the service manager after he left, I was told "he's a senior service adviser." That wasn't my question, so I asked again, "Is he the service manager?" No, I was told, "would you like to speak with the service manager?" Well, no I'd actually like a straight answer the first time. I mean, it's pretty obvious that I'm a little cantankerous and upset at this point, so your best recourse is to put on a smiley face and dig up some accountability. And stop trying to "up-sell" service. It's annoying. No, I don't need a brake fluid and coolant change after 18 months. I'm not a mechanic but this ain't my first car. This is where "dealers" become "stealers." I hate it. One last annoyance: Don't tell me that if my review "does not answer 'why" you have given the rating you have, it will not be accepted." When you ask for a review, I don't expect to be edited for any reason, save profanity. Either take what you get or shut it down. You won't see me again unless I have to, but I'm pretty sure I won't be missed. More
We took our vehicle in for an engine light on. We had this fixed there and were given a loaner to use which was wonderful, this is one of the reasons why we bring our vehicle there. I brought in my Hyundai Sonota Limited for a routine oil change/tire rotation and without a hitch It was in and out relatively quickly. The multi-point inspection report was very informative.
