Service (Battery) Cold weather got the best of my battery, Jumped battery and went to dealership to have meter reading on battery. Battery weak and no warranty left. Dealership had battery available and replaced old battery. Staff and service excellent. Very knowledge. Not where I purchased my vehicle but dealership where I purchased my vehicle no longer services mazdas (new ownership). Dealership referred me to Vanhorn Mazda and impressed with dealership. When looking for a new/used vehicle, definitely will do my service with Vanhorn Mazda. Great experience and happy with my experience. More

Another reason I recommend VHC Sheboygan to friends. My 06 Tucson was, in the severe cold, forgetting trip odometer, radio settings. It was a very strange thing. Scott listened to me on the detail of how the symptoms unfolded. First check showed no issue; then I reviewed how it only showed up after a long drive (car hot) and electrical cut out within 20 min. Team at VHC changed how they tested for the problem, and within the hour the issue revealed itself. Talented diagnosis revealed a negative battery terminal was the cause. The OEM terminal is, um, interesting... So they replaced with a more traditional one. All checked out fine; no issues. This is one of the reasons I trust Van Horn. They always get it right. They take the time to listen. They have great talented mechanics. More
warranty work I was told by Brian during a visit for recall work, that the engine oil gasket was leaking oil and since I was the original owner, Hyundai would cover I was told by Brian during a visit for recall work, that the engine oil gasket was leaking oil and since I was the original owner, Hyundai would cover its' repair up to 100,000 miles. I was able to schedule the work at no cost to me. I was also able to get a loaner vehicle for the evening while the work was being done. Brian was professional and friendly offering the information regarding the warranty repair work. More
Another great service experience Took my '06 Tucson back as it was tugging to one side. about 10,000 miles ago I bought a set of Pirelli tires from Tire Rack and had a local Saukvill Took my '06 Tucson back as it was tugging to one side. about 10,000 miles ago I bought a set of Pirelli tires from Tire Rack and had a local Saukville shop install them and do a 4 wheel alignment. The car tugged left so I took it back. They "adjusted". But it continued to tug. I finally got tired of it and took it to VHC. Turns out the "local" shop installed the tires inside out - and they are directional tires. The alignment was totally wrong. So VHC corrected those issues. Car drives great now. One of my remotes died and a battery replacement didn't help. They replaced the remote and programmed so I've not got two functioning remotes. While I didn't have the work done yet; their records indicated I've some springtime work to get done; but I decided to postpone. More

Too long Overall have had good experiences with Van Horn, but just took my Genesis in for a simple oil change and waited over 1 1/2 hours for it to be done.
