My friend Jesse and I both went to see the dealership about a year ago or so and we both enjoyed driving the VW Jetta sel and we both drove it off the lot. We didn't really have any problems with the car about a year ago or so and we both enjoyed driving the VW Jetta sel and we both drove it off the lot. We didn't really have any problems with the car, and we were both happy with the people that sold us the car. However, we are both extremely displeased with the constant problems with our cars computer and we made several trips out there to get our computer replaced. Now However we are beyond angry with them because we got into a minor accident hitting a very small deer and it ended up destroying the front bumper of the car, which we brought in to be Fixed. Our car has been sitting there in their repair shop for MONTHS ON END! We couldn't get VW to send us a new bumper! This started in very early spring, of this past year and we have been having to wait until they decided to send us a new bumper. Our car has been sitting there for about 5 months now and we just got the bumper here and on our car, but now we have been told that we have to wait for ANOTHER 2 WEEKS FOR THEM TO SEND OUT SOME OTHER PARTS because they forgot to order some more parts for our FREAKING BUMPER. In the meantime we have been forced to rent a car until our car has been fixed. And then do they offer us a rental car, a loaner? NO! We've been forced to pay for it ourselves, for Months now. So now we are forced to wait until our new parts for our bumper that they forgot to order! We have to rent a car for another 2 weeks or so! Just wanted to advise Van Horn customers who might buy a car from them. More
I keep my cars for a long time; 10 years or more is not unusual. This service department is great at proactively maintaining my cars and helping me keep them in good running order. We walked in without an appointment to see a newly listed vehicle and they were very accommodating. When discussing the price they were very straight forward and they were not pushy just to make a sale. Our vehicle and they were very accommodating. Our kid kept looking at the mustang in the showroom and wanted a ride so Hunter, the salesman helping us, set us up with a mustang to test drive while they prepared our paperwork. Overall good experience, would recommend this dealer and Hunter. More
We had a good experience buying ourExplorer. Our salesman Peter was very helpful! He picked us up because our van was in for repairs. We were able to drive home the same day with our new Explorer. Careful what you buy there, they sell vehicles with unclean carfaxes, tell you why it had a unclean carfax and find out it was for a whole different bigger issue. You pay top dollar for vehicles that are stripped of all accessories etc. They are not straight shooters and I'd watch yourself while here. They also posted my old truck for sale with my personal belongings still in multiple pictures in the truck. Who does that? Weird to deal with and honestly just unsettling, Ford dealer with a small car dealer attitude and rip off schemes. More
