I looked for a long time to locate a vehicle to fit my needs and I was not looking forward to working with a dealership that was not in my hometown. In the past I have spent many hours at a car dealership needs and I was not looking forward to working with a dealership that was not in my hometown. In the past I have spent many hours at a car dealership and came home feeling defeated and unsure of anything. My past experiences in looking at or purchasing vehicles had been so poor that I would only look in the windows at vehicles during times I knew the car dealerships were not open. I was pleasantly surprised by the respect shown to me by everyone on the Van Horn team in Oconomowoc and the easy manner in which trust and rapport was built. Rick and his Sales Manager validated my desire to make a decision that I would not regret later and didn't press me. Rick and Brad spent more time listening to me than talking at me. They asked questions for clarification and didn't try to talk over me. When I needed information, they were able to provide personal examples, which was helpful. They didn't skew their answers to push me into buying. When I explained that I was struggling with a decision as sometimes it is easier to do nothing than make a decision, both Rick and Brad supported me as I took myself through the different phases of my decision-making process -- brainstorming, weighing the pro's and con's, etc. They didn't try to tell me what to do as they likely knew I would feel offended as it was my decision to make. The result was that I purchased the vehicle I had initially located and I felt good about my purchase. I knew exactly what I had purchased, what the costs were, and what my choices were. It was a positive experience and I plan to continue to work with this dealership. More

At no point in time did Billy ever try to convince me or talk me into a certain vehicle. He worked to find me EXACTLY what I wanted and took as much time as needed to do so. There was no rush here. We ran my credit and discussed numbers before I even walked in. And for further details on logistics and terms, I spoke with financial guru Anthony Zimdars who was knowledgeable and patient in explaining every single number and contract line item in detail. We nailed down this pending deal over the phone and they held the truck. I came in, loved the truck (as expected), went into the office, all documents were exactly as discussed, and I was out of there in my beautiful Jeep in a little over an hour. I've spent upwards of 6 hours at dealers before this...I was blown away. I cannot fully express the relief and comfort in knowing exactly what your deal entails. I feel 100 percent satisfied, taken care of, and at ease. No hidden fees, no sales tricks; this dealer is staffed by hard working, honest, fair, knowledgeable, and kind folks.
