I continue to have great customer service at Van Horn. This is the second vehicle I have purchased from them. Our salesman, Fred, was educated on the vehicles we were interested in and we never felt like they were trying to push a sale of something we didn’t need or want. I returned to Van Horn because I had a great experience the first time we purchased a vehicle from them. They have always been professional and took care of any of our questions or concerns. More
The purchase was very easy. The dealer was very accommodating when we decided to keep our car rather than trade it in. It was a great experience. The dealer was very accommodating when we decided to keep our car rather than trade it in. It was a great experience. More
Very good experience. Was able to take vehicle for a solo test drive. Bryan was personable and great to work with when discussing a new vehicle purchase. Was able to take vehicle for a solo test drive. Bryan was personable and great to work with when discussing a new vehicle purchase. More
purchased my used 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited from them. The whole paperwork process & getting a lender lined up went great. Everything was upfront, I had the Carfax showing me it's maintenance & I go them. The whole paperwork process & getting a lender lined up went great. Everything was upfront, I had the Carfax showing me it's maintenance & I got what I hoped I would for my trade. After that is when things went sour, fast. I was told I could pick it up on Monday & when it got to be 4:30 with no word I called them & they said they were waiting on a part & it would be a couple of days. I waited until Wednesday & called again at 4:30 for them to tell me it still wasn't ready. No word on Thursday. Finally, I called both the service manager & salesman numerous times on Friday to not get a straight answer until the end of the day when I was told I could finally pick it up on Saturday, one week later. Once I got it home I noticed the front differential was leaking. The next day the front directional signal bulb went out. The sockets were completely corroded. Because it was an "as is / no warranty" sale there was no point in me driving 36 miles round trip to plead my case. Now, it's only been 2 weeks & I have an idler pulley going out. I've spent over $330 so far on repairs & am looking at more to get the pulley fixed. These aren't things that just wear out overnight. These should have been noticed during the pre-delivery inspection!! My advice is bring a mechanic with you if you're interested in a used vehicle from them. I'm kicking myself for not doing that.
