I needed two new key fobs programmed to upgrade to remote start. The Service Manager was very positive and very helpful. He told me he had a guy who could program the new key fobs in 30 minutes. Edit UPDATE: At approximately 10:30 on Friday October 7, 2022, I returned a call to Nate the GM at Van Horn after he called my husband instead of me. He offered to refund my money for the lifetime oil changes IF I remove this review! Goes to show that he does not care about anything other than reviews! He doesn’t care to fix the problems. Shawn is a nice guy but he is only the Sales Manager and not the one in charge. He also dropped the ball by not following up with the first incident. Just brush it aside and it will go away…. Right???? Wrong! So Nate, no amount of money you send me will silence me from my truthful experiences at Van Horn Auto! As noted, I had previously posted a review praising them and recommending them! As well as 2 Facebook posts with check ins and photos, which have now been deleted. It wasn’t until the oil change back in August that things went very bad! Other prospective car buyers need to be aware! *************************** Previously had recommended them, but after my first oil change and damage to my vehicle occurred and they never even told me and when they were notified, the response was far from even satisfactory! Then upon getting the required recall done today was beyond POOR! If I had the option to get full money returned and the same vehicle from a different dealer, believe me, I would! I will never recommend them and I dread the lifetime of oil changes…which the first one took 1.5 hours!!!!! (Their reasoning was I arrived early (15 minutes-which is on time in my world) and the technician was not available!) The customer service is lacking very much! Rick Miller was our sales person. He was nice, but gave a different explanation for the Luxcare service than we actually got. Don’t do it, it’s a scam!!!! Just totally avoid this dealership if customer service, timely service and honesty are important to you! It’s NOT the small town dealership of many years ago! More
