My wife and I have been looking for a replacement for our 2003 Dodge GC. We have been looking for about 2 months and happened on the Van Horn web site. We were immediately impressed with the variety and quality of cars available so we decided to take the 60 mile drive down to Plymouth. I have to admit the thought of dinner in Elkhart Lake kind of sealed the deal. Our experience with Van Horn was very good from the beginning. The on-line chat feature is a wonderful tool and worked well. we determined that the cars were still available and set up an appointment. Our sales person, Jorren, was friendly and attentive. We looked at several cars and took a test drive. Both of us agreed that the T&C was worth talking about so we sat down and started negotiating. The process was typical of all negotiations, with the sales rep. going to manager with our offer and the manager coming back with another offer which always results in a visit with the manager so he can explain how they work on low margins and he needs to make a profit, yada, yada, yada. All various tedious and predictable. We decided that this wasn't going to work and left. When we got home Jorren had called and he and the sales manager had figured out a very creative solution to the impasse and we decided to drive down again and see what we could work out. We bought the car and feel we got a very good deal and we have to say that the creativity and flexibility of the Van Horn staff made it happen. More

Went in to look at a specific vehicle we found listed online, the staff was extremely courteous and quick with their assistance. I was sat down, the car was brought up, and I was already in the driver s online, the staff was extremely courteous and quick with their assistance. I was sat down, the car was brought up, and I was already in the driver seat for a test drive. Within a couple hours we were driving off the lot home with our new (pre-owned) vehicle. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and I would definitely recommend their products and services! They definitely make you feel at ease and are willing to work with you on making a deal. I hope the car runs as smoothly as the dealeership! Thank you Van Horn! More

I purchased a 2008 Pontiac G6 in October of last year. In the beginning the service was really good but, that's what you should expect from a salesman. When I decided to go with the Pontiac I was told that I the beginning the service was really good but, that's what you should expect from a salesman. When I decided to go with the Pontiac I was told that I wouldn't have to make my first initial payment until 3 months later which was accurate. I was also told that if I made my first 3 car note payments on time that I would be able to change my due date. When I called the bank to change the due date they told me that the car dealership should not tell people that because it is not true. After going back and forth with Brian and the bank they finally changed it. In addition to the lies I was told that if I wanted to trade my car in after my 3 car payments I could trade the car in for another car or I could keep the Pontiac and get my payments lowered. Well, little did I know that I wouldn't be able to get my car notes lowered and if I wanted to trade my car in I would have to get a car from either Dodge or Chevy not "any car I wanted". The worst part is that I would have to drive all the way from Milwaukee to find out that I couldn't get the car I wanted, what a waste of gas and time. I wouldn't recommend anyone to this dealership and if you do refer people and they tell you that you will receive a referral check please be prepared for the run around. Last but not least I just found out that 2 of my family members purchased cars from them and I didn't know about it and they had problems also!!! Take your money elsewhere! More

I filled out an application and was never contacted back. I had to pursue it and then I was lied to. They said they would call me the next day and never called. Found many beautiful cars on their lot at incredible prices. Well, first off, their sales team were both kind of jerks, but nothing that I wouldn't expect from a sleazy dealership. Anyway, they were rea prices. Well, first off, their sales team were both kind of jerks, but nothing that I wouldn't expect from a sleazy dealership. Anyway, they were really non-negotiable with prices stating that their prices were better than anyone else around. So, we called the bank and checked to see if we could loan out a little more to be able to afford said 'great priced' vehicle. Well, the loan officer asked the dealerships name and as soon as I said it, he said "don't buy a car from van horn." All their cars are salvage cars that were once in an accident and has gotten repaired. It's what their well known for selling there. So, we called back and asked about said vehicle and sure enough, it had been returned to the dealership from the owner under the lemon law. Apparently had some major electrical issues and faulty brakes. They said it was all fixed by brake pads, doesn't make sense to me. Well, let's just say, we found out why their prices were so darn low. More
