Great Car Buying Experience We are from the Chicago area and our son attends the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. We searched much of the Chicago area for a Jeep Cherokee, but We are from the Chicago area and our son attends the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. We searched much of the Chicago area for a Jeep Cherokee, but could not find what we were looking for. Our son found Van Horn Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep online, and I am pleased he did. We made the drive to Plymouth, Wisconsin and had a very positive car buying experience. Mark Sloan took the time to show us 6 different vehicles and we purchased the Cherokee that best suited my son's needs. Further, we were treated like family and completed the transaction within a short period of time. I would highly recommend this dealership, even if you are a few hours away! Mark is great to work with and we feel we purchased a great vehicle for a great price! More

Great People, Great Inventory & Great Price I recently moved back to Chicago from Miami and realized that my automotive needs had changed drastically. I decided that a Ram 1500, crew cab, Ecodi I recently moved back to Chicago from Miami and realized that my automotive needs had changed drastically. I decided that a Ram 1500, crew cab, Ecodiesel fit the bill perfectly. Having chosen the truck, I searched the web for pricing. Van Horn had the best advertised price and an assortment of available trucks, but they were 150 miles away. I stopped by a local dealer, which only had two Ecodiesels at higher price points. I showed them the listing at Van Horn. They warned me that I'd never qualify for all the factory rebates needed to obtain the advertised price. I happened to be in Baltimore a few days later, needed a tow vehicle, and tried again there: Only one Ecodiesel was in stock. I offered the same ratio of purchase price to sticker price as Van Horn had advertised. My offer was rejected and I was again warned that Van Horn could never actually sell for the "internet price." Somewhat skeptical, I submitted an offer online to Van Horn a day later. The process couldn't have been easier: They countered at their advertised price (which was fine with me). I spoke to Josh to confirm and we had a deal. There was never any question about them honoring their advertised price. I arrived two days later to be greeted by true professionals. All paperwork was in order when I arrived. The truck was clean, had a full tank and was ready to go. Mark took me on a test drive to be sure I liked the truck. Back at the dealership, Mike and I had the papers signed within 20 minutes and I was ready to go. As a technologically challenged person, I truly appreciated the time that Mark took to show me all of the systems and to link my phone via Bluetooth. As I made the trip back to Chicago, thrilled that my Pandora stations were playing and while getting 3x better gas mileage than in my other SUV, I had a realization: Van Horn was certainly worth the drive. I'm not sure when I'll need another vehicle, but the experience was so refreshing, that I've already shared it with friends. More
Excellent Customer Service Skils! Having just retired from Federal Service and relocating with my your son to Plymouth, I stopped by the local Chrysler Dealership (Van Horn) to have my Having just retired from Federal Service and relocating with my your son to Plymouth, I stopped by the local Chrysler Dealership (Van Horn) to have my 2012 Town & Country serviced for oil and filter change as well as ensuring that the fluid types and levels would support smooth operation of the vehicle this coming winter. This was accomplished with such cheer and obvious compassion for the customer. After spending my adult life as a civil servant, and having been transferred to and worked in over a dozen states, this dealership by far was the most pleasant experience I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. I have certainly been through my share of dealership nightmares, but this was clearly just the opposite. Once the services were completed, it was identified to me that the vehicle may have a minor oil leak. Yet once again, for the first time EVER, I dropped the vehicle off to have that repaired expecting to have to find a way to work. To my surprise, I was immediately provided a loaner vehicle. Not only was I pleasantly surprised with a loaner, once again the communication skills and customer service experience was second to none. From the Assistant Service Manager (Mike) to other service personnel (Dan and Karrie) and even the technicians had no problem communicating with me and treating me with respect while sharing any information gained from servicing my vehicle. If I had to provide a single word to describe the service department experience at Van Horn Chrysler Jeep Dodge; that one word would have to be 'Phenomenal'. Thank you for the pleasant experience! Extremely Bad Customer Service I was about to purchase a pickup from Van Horn until I found out how shady they are. The salesman I was working with pressured me into either buying i I was about to purchase a pickup from Van Horn until I found out how shady they are. The salesman I was working with pressured me into either buying it now or another customer was going to be given the chance to purchase the vehicle. I had been in contact with the salesman for many weeks inquiring about the vehicle and I was just working out the details when I got a call from him saying that I have to give them money to reassure that I would get the pickup. Also another employee of Van Horn was really pressuring me into purchasing the Lux Package for my pickup, of which I wasn't interested in, but he kept pestering me to purchase it. This dealership will not get any of my business. Van Horn might think about changing their company policies, such as, GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, SALESMAN WILL NOT PRESSURE YOU INTO PURCHASING A VEHICLE, etc. More
