We had a great experience while purchasing our 2010 dodge 2500 truck. We traveled 260 miles from Upper Michigan to visit Van Horn Dodge. My husband and I have been looking at Commanders for about a month. We have visited different dealerships in the Sheboygan County area, and done test drives as well. Troy worked with Dan on an initial visit, and Dan was impressed with his knowledge, professionalism and engagement. On the day that we bought our Commander, we drove two vehicles. Troy had them both brought inside the service area, and explained them thoroughly, including all the features and details. After each test drive, he asked questions and listened to our input. When we had completed the second test drive, he invited us to come and sit down and talk about our situation, thoughts and next steps. He was very comfortable for us to work with. We had two older vehicles that we were considering trading in on a Commander, and he made it easy for us to explore that option, and get a monthly payment on the new Commander that we were comfortable with. As we drove the Commander away, we both smiled and remarked that it was the best experience we have ever had in buying a car. More
We had taken our Caliber in for an oil change and brake job and left with a new car. we are still trying to figure out how this happened as we were very happy with our Caliber. We made an impulse buy and although happy with the vehicle, we may have not got the best deal available. We were assured we received "credit" for being repeat customers (this is the 3rd vehicle from Chuck van Horn and 1 from Joe van Horn), although were not told what this "credit" was. All in all, we are pleased with the car and the customer service we received. We will continue to patronize Chuck van Horne for our service needs. More

Our finance consultant, Josh Koon, was just as accomodating and made everything very easy and fast. We at no time during our visit felt any pressure to purchase and left with the exact vehicle and terms we went in for. I cannot wait to come back to have Mark and Josh get us into our next vehicle. The whole time were were at Van Horn Dodge the customer service was wonderful. We had Roy for a sales person, and felt very "at-home" during the whole buying experience. The dealership worked well with our price range & comfort level. Honestly, my husband and I were both blown away with how kind all of the people were. When you pull in, nobody attacks you when you want to just drive around & look at vehicles. But they are there when you need them, and open to answer any question you might have. Our experience went very well! We would definitely use this dealership again when looking for another vehicle in the future. We love our new SUV! More

I dealt with Mark Sloan, who had sold a Jeep Liberty to my daughter Rachel the day before. I had seen the Jeep I was interested in on the lot when I came there with Rachel. I asked to take it for a test drive while Rachel was finishing up her sale with Mark. I was very impressed and came back the next day with my vehicle to trade in. They gave me a good price on my old Jeep and we struck a deal. At no time was I ever pressured or called before I came back. The deal progressed at my speed which I really enjoyed. When we left, I made the mistake of leaving my keys at the dealership. Mark drpped them off at my home in Oshkosh the next day, which happened to be his day off! That showed me that Mark will go the extra distance to take care of his customers. We'll be back for sure. i drove just about 2.5 hours all the way from sturgeon bay and spoke with the salesman before i left and was told everything was set and there wouldnt be any issues. well when i got there i waiting nearly bay and spoke with the salesman before i left and was told everything was set and there wouldnt be any issues. well when i got there i waiting nearly 2 hours for them to come back downstairs and tell me that there was no way they could do this deal well now i was PISSED! not only had i driven almost 3 hours and wasted my valuable time i was told before i left that everything was set. then they told me i needed a cosigner well luckily i had brought my grandfather with so that was solved then i waited another hour and a half and they came back and told us that everything could be worked out, ok so i was still pissed but got what i came for. then signed all the papers and walked out and then they told me they wrote down the wrong stock number and im still aggravated but whatever so we resign all of the papers again. then as i was driving off they stopped me and told me they needed to get me a temp plate. so now im at the point where i feel i should just walk away and never deal with these guys again becasue they are poorly ran and i felt they didnt know what they were doing. they also didnt give me everything i was promised. i didnt receive an owners manual with the truck nor did i receive my proof of warranty. i would never tell anyone to go here because i dont feel anyone should have to go through all of the xxxxxxxx and lies that i had to go through. I came in to your dealership to find a van for my new job. At first u didn't have anything but Mark who i was working with knew that he had a van being traded in soon. He was very kind and considerate through the whole process. His willingness to "do what it takes" to get us the vehicle that fit us best was much appreciated. I also really appreciated "giving us space" when Sara and I needed to talk through our impression of the vehicle as well as payment options. The only complaint I would offer is not for Mark but for Josh in asumming we want extra warranty coverage and Gap insurance. I would have rather he started where Mark Sloan shared our payments would be and then talk about the increase in payment if you choose the following options. I am in sales myself and when I put myself in the customer role I would rather be "up sold" then have "sticker shock". Just my opinion! Matt and Sara Homan More

I faxed my information to kelly and got preapproved I went in to look about 2 weeks ago and I didn't see anything I liked I wanted a charger AWD with leather seats and a sunroof I keep checking the website everyday until I found what I liked. I went in saturday 2/26/11 test drove the car and I was done withe everything within the hour. The customer service was exceptional brian in finance was awesome he explained everything with me. This was the best experience that I have ever had purchasing a car!!! Kelly had so much patience with me she was awesome as well! More
