My first time purchasing a vehicle and I decide to take my money and time to Van Horn Dodge. The service was good, everyone was helpful. However there was some issues in which I felt was worth mentioning my money and time to Van Horn Dodge. The service was good, everyone was helpful. After my folks and I drove the car we spoke with Troy to sign the papers to purchase the car with some request made such as changing the all four tires, fixing the scratches on the outside and inside of the vehicle, the dents on the back and front of the vehicle, and the rear bumper as the vechicle got in a crash before in which the rear bumper was not fully repair properly. Troy eagerly mention "don't worry about it ... we'll take care of it". Obviously if they can take care of it why wouldn't I buy it; also the manager said "we'll take care of it". When begining the paper works we mention we want to finance with a third party as their rate is lower that Van Horns' +6% APR. Obviously Troy had to try to somehow convince us to finance it with his dealership so he went ahead and said if we don't finance with them they won't be able to fix the parts as mention from before. Even still my folks and I began to reconsider purchasing the vehicle here, but Troy then CLAIMS that they are able to match whatever offer, APR, the third party can offer. So obviously we agreed then to go ahead with the paper works, WRONG CHOICE! I then spoke with another representative who informed the APR can't be match and that it'll be +6%. At this point my folks and I was frustrated as we were misinformed but this agent attempted to help but getting some sort of discount to give us downto a +4% APR, which was okay but not like how Troy mention it. After this Troy comes in gives us a check made out for $500 for tires so we can go find some and replace it ourselves. WHAT!? Obviously the agreement was for Van Horn to replace it not for me to find some tires and have someone else replace it. Plus $500, from before Troy mention tires can be about +$700 but he end up giving only a check for $500. Obviously just because I'm Asian, Van Horn Dodge thought that I don't know there's a difference between $500 and +$700. So I refuse the check and said Van Horn needs to replace the tires as agreed before. So after all paper work done I took the vehicle home and a week or two later a representative from Van Horn comes and takes the car back to make the repairs. So coming to a third week I was able to go back to the dealership in hopes of viewing a nice fix up car, WRONG! When I saw the car the only this that was done was just changing of the tires. The scratch marks and dents was still there and the bumper was not even touch. xxx! The manager as he handed us the keys, was quite impatient and pretty much ran off while me and my dad were inspecting the car to see if it was fix. When I ask why the scratches was not fix, the manager reply, "We said we'll try to fix it not take it will come off". So pretty much saying you just got SCREWED OVER! Also seeing how the tires are new there would've been some sort of warranty on it which the manager didn't even bother to give to me so I had to go into the service shop and get it myself; by the way the tires that was replaced on the service form I received was +$700 (check $500 for +$700 tires replace at Van Horn, I don't think so). Overall my experience at the Van Horn Dodge dealership was quite a disappointment. I wouldn't recommend this dealership despite some of the good cars and some of the good customer service treatments I received throughout the experience. More

I had a great experience at Van Horn Dodge. There was no pressure, just a friendly hello and a leisurely test drive. I was able to peruse my used car at my own pace and in my own time. Paul Miller and Kelly Lentz are a great pair of sales people. They are friendly, no pressure, relaxed, and local, so they know they are selling to their neighbors, friends, etc. I didn't plan on buying a car that day, but, Van Horn had the right ride, right price, and, Paul and Kelly made it stress-free and nice. I would, and will, send my friends and family to Paul and Kelly in the future. Thanks, guys! More

Nice experience. Troy, our sales person, was great to deal with - no pressure, which was so nice compared to other high pressure car dealer we previously visited. Troy was extremely helpful throughout the buying process. He was great about staying in contact with me and answering any question I had. From the minute we steped in the door we were treated with lots of respect. Mark was great and new the answer to any questions we had about the vehicle we bought it was good to know that he was familiar with lots of respect.
