I was searching for a Dodge Magnum within a reasonable distance of Madison, WI. I looked at several, but the one that really caught my eye was the 2008 in Inferno Red at VanHorn. I began e-mailing back and forth with Christian about the Magnum and the trade that I wanted to arrange for my Trailblazer. Christian was very helpful and responded to my e-mails in a timely manner. I received e-mails from Adam on certain occasions who was also very helpful. Eventually, we came to an agreement about the trade and I went to VanHorn to take the Magnum for a test drive. The car looked great, but I was a little disappointed to find out that the car was not ready to drive home that day, due to tie rod and manifold repairs that still needed to be done. So, my friend and I had to drive back to Madison in the Trailblazer. While I was there, I also asked them to put a trailer hitch on the Magnum so I could tow my boat. Christian said, No problem, it'll be ready to deliver in a few days. A few days turned in to a week and then 2 weeks and then 3 weeks. It was during this time that I would have appreciated receiving updates from VanHorn, but I had to call them instead to get the updates. Eventually, I called the VanHorn Service Dept. directly and they said that the trailer hitch still hadn't arrived and that it would be about another week. I then called Christian and asked him to deliver the car without the hitch, which he agreed to do and I had my car that same day. I have been enjoying the Magnum since. I was finding it difficult to arrange time off work to travel to Plymouth to get my hitch installed. Christian proposed that he would send a driver down to deliver a loaner car and drive my Magnum back to Plymouth to get the hitch installed. I also informed Christian of a few minor concerns I had with the car and he said they would also be addressed. Low and behold all happened exactly as planned and I was not charged for the minor repairs. I now have my Magnum back and I highly praise Christian and the VanHorn Service Dept. for their excellent customer service and most importantly keeping their word. That's rare now-a-days and they should be commended. More

From start to finish everyone was so helpful and I never felt like anyone was pushing me into something I did not want. I found Van Horn Dodge on Autotrader.com when searching for a used vehicle. I was able to view their website and look at cars in great detail from the pictures they took before even walking into the deale for a used vehicle. I was looking at purchasing a Jeep and being a Jeep dealership, this gave me confidence that I was looking in the right place. Although I knew about Van Horn, I kept my eyes open for other deals closer to my home as Van Horn was 1.5 hours away. I stopped in at a few local dealerships in my area first and found some vehicles that I liked. The pricing was ok but the cars did not have all of the options I wanted. The salesmen were normal used car salesmen who were pushy and telling me what I wanted to hear so I didn't feel comfortable buying from them. I decided to make the trip up to Van Horn to view a car I found online. I was put in contact with Bryan Fiecko when I called to make sure the car was still available before I made the drive up there. He asked me to hold and physically checked to be sure the car was there and available and verified the options it had so I didn't waste my time driving all the way up there, this was great! I drove to Van Horn and I pulled into their parking lot and was impressed already. They had a large inventory, the show room was clean and impressive compared to other dealerships I stopped at. The atmosphere was very professional yet laid back enough that I didn't feel intimidated. I met with Bryan and right away he made me feel comfortable working with him, not aggressive or pushy. The vehicle was great overall with a few areas that needed attention and I asked if those could be resolved and Bryan told me it wouldn't be an issue because the vehicle was so new to them they had not done a full inspection yet and the things I brought up would all be taken care of normally before I viewed the car. I also had a concern about a mechanical item dealing with the vehicle so I asked to test drive a different one to see if it was a common thing as I was used to driving a car, not a 4x4, Bryan didn't have any issues with that. It turned out nothing was wrong and Bryan's willingness to let me do that ensured me that he was not trying to hide anything but yet wanted to do everything he could to make me feel comfortable about my potential purchase. I had brought a car to trade in and we walked inside to discuss trade in value and down payments and monthly payments. I felt like I got a fairly good price on my trade in. Other than that, the negotiation side of things were straight forward. The sticker price was the final price, so I knew coming in that there was going to be no hassles trying to haggle back and forth. Knowing this going into the dealership also made me feel comfortable. Before agreeing on everything I laid out the items I had concerns with and Bryan agreed that everything would get taken care of before I picked up the car. Great! Done deal! I filled out some paperwork and then met with Evert to go over finances. I like to know all of my options and numbers to figure out what's best for me. Evert spent the time to calculate and re-calculate downpayment/length of loan/warranty costs…etc for me to figure out what would work best for me with no pressure at all. We came to a good number that fit into my budget and even included a bumper to bumper warranty package. This warranty package was great for many reasons. First, I like to do my own maintenance on my cars to save money and to make sure things are getting done the way I want them done, and this warranty package allowed that. Also, I can fix pretty much anything on a car that mechanically goes wrong, but on newer cars, there's so many electronics that can't be "fixed" but instead replaced as a whole and this was the main reason for getting the warranty, so this gave me great peace of mind! All the paperwork was now done and since I didn't bring the title with me for my trade, I had to come back to pick up the vehicle but I left with a good feeling and confidence that I wasn't "sold" a vehicle but yet I purchased one with the help of Bryan and Evert. I came back with my trade a couple days later and picked up the vehicle. Everything that they said would be taken care of was done, they lived up to their word! Perfect! We drove off in our new vehicle with a great feeling. Then on the way home after about 20 minutes the radio/nav system rebooted randomly, then later did it again and again. This worried me and I had plans of contacting Van Horn the next day. The next day I received an email from Christina asking about my experience at Van Horn. I replied back with the issue I was having and copied Byran in on the e-mail. I wrote that I wasn't able to test this out fully when I test drove the car and I asked them how they could help me out. 15 minutes later Bryan called me and said they'd take care of it no problem. I asked if I needed to drive it back up there and he said that someone could pick it up from my house and drop it back off. It worked out great that our family was heading out on vacation so they were able to keep the car and fix the issue without leaving me without a car. I came back from vacation, they drove the car back to me and the issue was resolved. I've been using the car for about a week now and love it, no issues. Overall I'm very happy with my whole experience at Van Horn and would recommend this dealership to anyone. They care about their customers and will do what it takes to make sure they are satisfied and won't leave you hanging. The prices were in the same ball park as everyone else. This will be the first place I look next time I need to purchase a car. More

I bought my Nissan Frontier late in the day on a Saturday, and was planning on driving out to pick it up with my wife the next Monday. But I didn't have to, because they delivered it to my house free of charge. I highly recommend going to Paul and the rest of the crew at Van Horn for your next vehicle. Thanks! More
Very easy to work with when a problem came up on my car. They took it right in and took care of the problem. While there, they suggested that it was almost due for a oil change, which the did also. We bought 2 cars here in the same day, a 2005 Grand Cherokee and a 2007 Fusion. Both cars were the best price we could find in the area, and the service was great. We had the unfortunate issue of a check engine light that kept turning on on the Jeep once we left, but Rodney and the crew at Van Horn were willing to make sure the problem was fixed and didn't charge us a dime to do so. They even drove up to Green Bay where we live to pickup the car to get it fixed! I will be sending friends and family to this dealership and shopping here in the future for my cars. This is a standup, honest establishment that takes pride in doing the right thing! More
We were HIGHLY recommended to visit Van Horn by friends who have had pleasant dealings. I was almost positive a reliable car from a dealer was impossible for us but this experience was different from the who have had pleasant dealings.
