The dealership had a larger selection of cars, SUVs and trucks available than other dealers at the time. The disappointment was when the car was delivered it only had a 1/4 tank of gas. I have never purcha trucks available than other dealers at the time. The disappointment was when the car was delivered it only had a 1/4 tank of gas. I have never purchased a car that was not delivered with a full tank. I know gas is expensive these days but so are new and used cars. My trade in had more than a half a tank of gas. More
First, thank you for bringing the vehicle we wished to drive in from another Van Horn dealership so we didn’t have to leave town to drive it!! Our salesman Kieran did an amazing job! He was very knowledg drive in from another Van Horn dealership so we didn’t have to leave town to drive it!! Our salesman Kieran did an amazing job! He was very knowledgeable and professional with a very easy to talk with personality! We also had great service from the manager Kyle and Jason in finance! Joe the salesman was very friendly too!!! I would be lax however if I did not mention how hot and bright the sun was coming into the showroom in the early evening hours. Maybe some blinds would help?! More

I was able to find the vehicle I wanted online, received a reply within 10 minutes, and walked away with said vehicle in 2 days. I cannot say enough good things about this place. I never felt pressure to purchase at any point, which has happened at dealers before. I dealt with Chadd via email at first and then was helped by Taylor throughout the purchase and upon arrival at the dealership. Taylor was overly helpful in explaining every aspect of the trade and purchase, but also made sure I knew about all the features inside the vehicle before making the drive back to Michigan. Fantastic place and people! More
*UPDATE* Andrew the General Service Manager did in fact get in touch with me and he made things right. While I can’t say that my opinion has changed entirely regarding VanHorn Manitowoc, I can say that I w get in touch with me and he made things right. While I can’t say that my opinion has changed entirely regarding VanHorn Manitowoc, I can say that I was too quick to write them off entirely. They did step up, Andrew Deisley was extremely understanding, and compassionate. He exceeded my expectations when it came to finding a way to resolve this issue. I’d also like to say that Heather Machia the Assistant Service Manager was also a continuously pleasant person to work with. She always made me feel “heard” during this frustrating experience. I appreciated that. My star rating has been adjusted and rounded up. Purchased a 2017 grand caravan on 7/2/22. We added on the Galaxy shield and extended warranty. ( don’t make that mistake) Kieran failed to go through all of the warranty coverages and options nor were we provided any information until we repeatedly emailed him for it after getting home and realizing nothing was provided. He was quick to lay blame everywhere else. Now back to that Galaxy shield add on. An interior and exterior coating to protect from various enviro factors is applied to the car…. Well when we received the van both the exterior and interior were pretty filthy so they either never applied the coating OR they applied it over top of unclean surfaces basically making the coating useless. That’s the “professional application “ you pay for. When we brought this (along with other complaints) to Kerians attention he forwarded it onto the service department and Heather very kindly reached out and arranged to have the car brought back and have it cleaned again and have the Galaxy shield reapplied. She even offered to have the van picked up for us (which I admit is very convenient) however, we’re still out the gas (it’s about 65mi. round trip) and we’ll be without a van for a day. They haven’t offered to provide any sort of compensation for either of those factors even though it was their responsibility to provide the service that they were paid to provide. Don’t fall for their add ons and don’t expect them to be there to take care of you once you’ve left the lot. No one has taken any accountability, the General Sales Manager has not responded to us directly even after I have personally emailed him and called asking for him. Stay.away. More
